I just want to put a note and say that from here on out there's gonna be a lot of heavy topics such as eating disorders, alcoholism, depression and suicide attempts so please read with care and feel free to take breaks or just skip those parts. There are two specific chapters which are very heavy and I will place a note on them as they come but there will be frequent mention of these sort of topics for a few chapters. Please take care of yourselves.

Hot.

Burning.

Chuuya groaned as he turned to the side of his bed, he opened his aching eyes tiredly.

"Did you call Kyoyo?"

"Yes Fyodor, she's on her way. But what do we do with him for now?"

"Well, he looks cold? Maybe we should cover him up?"

"He's got a fever though? Aghh, I don't remember how my parents took care of me!"

"Nobody in my family got sick."

Tachihara sighed and crossed his arms "Now is not the time to brag about you and your family's immune system."

"What's going on?" Chuuya asked, his voice raspy as if speaking was scratching his throat pipe, he felt a sharp pain in his throat and promptly shut his mouth after.

The two males looked at him in relief and Tachihara quickly rushed to his side, kneeling down so their eyes were on the same level, he took Chuuya's hand and squeezed it, "You've got a fever and we've called Kyoyo to come over and check on you."

"You called Kyoyo!?" Chuuya shot up, looking at the two of them frantically, "No, no, no, you can't call her, not now!" Tachihara and Fyodor shot each other confused looks before turning to look at Chuuya again, who groaned and swayed as his head pounded and vision spun, "She's going to know! She's going to know what a terrible person I am, what I said to-"

Immediately his eyes started to water again and he looked down at his bed covers in completer and utter distraught "what I-" he bunched the covers in his hands and brought then up this his eyes, utterly humiliated and ashamed of himself.

"Chuuya, you need to lay back down, you're in pain and your hysterics aren't going to help. Kyoyo's going to find out either way eventually. Better to tell her now than for her to assume you and Dazai are still friends for another few weeks or months. or however, you can both avoid it," Fyodor spoke in his usual calm and collected manner.

At the mention of Dazai's name Chuuya sobbed and then buried his face in his hands, rasping out a quiet, "What happened to Dazai? Is he okay?"

"We don't know much, his side is dealing with him."

Despite the fact Chuuya and Dazai's friend group was one big group, neither side forgot their roots and who they were closest with, they were all close friends but at their core, Dazai's closest friends were the ones he brought to the group and Chuuya's closest friends on his side were also the ones he first befriended, they referred to it as 'their sides'.

It was just that this time Chuuya had a feeling that the only people who were concerned about him were those in the room with his right now. He was the bad guy in this situation, there weren't going to be many on his side. If any.

Rightfully so. He thought. I'm a fucking disappointment.

"You should be focusing on yourself right now, you're running a fever and that panic attack you had, has most likely been building up for a while," Fyodor added as he looked around Chuuya's room with an inquisitive nature.
