As we got on the plane I couldn't get my head around what was going, in 2 days I lost my mom I'm moving with my God-father in Chicago, across the USA, I was leaving my friends, my family.
But one person I was happy to leave was my father, Micheal Atwood.
He and my mom divorced when I was 11. Not only did he abuse my mom mentally and physically, but he also cheated on her.
After that, my mom got a restraining order.
"Are you okay, honey ?" The social worker asked
"Yeah, just trying to understand what's happening, you know it happened so fast,"
"I know, but it's gonna be okay."
"Thank you,"
After a couple of minutes, I fell asleep.

As soon as the pilot announced that they had to, but their seat belts on the social worker woke Dylan up.
And a couple minutes later, there they were.....Chicago......
