Avis is sitting beside Kendra's bedside along with Carl and Daryl, both of which have been banned from the day's activities by Herhsel, housebound until recovered, both recovering from bullet wounds. Learning that had startled both the girls, looking at the young boy in shock while giving the glaring man a once over. Apparently Carl had been in a hunting accident with Otis, Patricia's late husband who had died getting medical equipment with Shane while Daryl had been shot at by Andrea, being mistaken for a walker.

She was glad Kendra and her weren't wandering the property when they were found, finding that this particular group was trigger happy.

"Three fives," Avis calls, placing her cards facedown on the bed.

"Bullshit."

Avis gives a long, suffering sigh." Daryl," she calls. "You have to be playing to call bullshit."

He gives a scoff in return, arms crossed as he leans back in his chair.

"Then bullshit." Kendra calls from where she's sat at the head of the bed.

Avis watches in anger as she leans forward to flip over the cards to see no fives but three two's. Kendra sends her a smirk while Carl snickers behind his cards.

Avis glowers at Daryl, snatching the cards from the bed to add to her deck. "Too bad that bullet missed."

Daryl rolls his eyes.

"One six." Carl continues slowly, plopping the card down.

"Three sevens."

"Bullshit." Avis calls.

Kendra flips the card smugly.

Avis groans as she grabs the carbs before she's setting down her own. "Three eights."

As soon as the cards are down Daryl's mouth is open. "Bullshit."

Avis throws up her hands, tone bewildered. "Is that the only word you know?"

He remains quiet and it only makes Avis want to strangle him more, that and she could swear she saw the corner of his lip tilt up.

Avis pointed a finger at him, anger flaring. "You're costing me this game, hayseed." With a blank look, he shrugs his shoulders and she almost throws herself over the bed. "We're about to have a serious problem."

"It looks like you've already got a problem," Kendra snickers, giving her a mocking pout. "You want to take a break, needy? Does losing hurt your feelings?"

"Keep talking and I'm going to hurt your face." Avis jeers.

"Do I need to put one of you in the corner?" A southerned voice chuckles from the door, sounding all but amused by what they've walked into.

Avis turns to see Rick, standing bemused as he watches the four. "Daryl started it, if anyone needs a timeout, it's him. I don't know if you know this but he's a major instigator," She throws said man a callous grin. "A pot stirrer if you will."

He only gives a blank look.

"Well," Rick starts, head bowed as he chuckles before he's looking at her with bright blues. "I just wanted to come by and ask if you'd like to join us for gun training."

Avis snaps her head to the man, a crazed grin spreading across her cheeks that makes him slightly regret the invitation. "Guns?"

"Guns," He nods slowly. "We figured everyone should know how to carry, learn how to protect themselves."

Avis nods. "Well you'll be happy to know that Kendra and I already know how to shoot."

A grunt of disbelief comes from the direction of Daryl that sends Avis scowling. "Daryl, unless you can communicate with words and not cavenmanish grunts than how bout you just...shush."
