The next morning, our allies gave us the address of both; the car's owner and the old man.

Surprisingly, the car's owner was someone we knew.

"Min Hyuk?!" I said loudly.

"Yes! The bank manager who was murdered earlier was the one who may or may not have killed Lee Yoon Ah 3 years ago." Soo Jae described.

"No! That's...Oh my God!" I was actually amazed. When I saw the security footage, I was so mad that I wanted to kill the driver myself, but now that I knew he's been murdered, as he deserved, I was relieved. If Yoon Ah was still alive and she killed Min Hyuk, then I would be a lawyer fighting for her not against her.

"Soo Jae! This is karma. If you do something wrong, you've got to pay for it. He killed someone, he was supposed to be killed too." I said enthusiastically.

"Killed? He should've been dealt according to the law! And we are still unsure if Yoon Ah is alive or dead because if she didn't die that day, she had no right to kill Min Hyuk, that's illegal." Soo Jae got angry and started to protest.

"She was left injured on the road with no one to help her! Do you have any idea how badly she was wounded. Isn't it a valid reason to give her a 'right' to kill him?" I sided with Yoon Ah. I pitied her.

"Woo Yeon! You are a lawyer yourself and you know the laws, was it right to 'kill' him. She is most likely to be alive and if she is, she should be punished for the murder!" Our conversation was turning into an argument.

"She should be, but, what do you think she would've done? Contacted the police who didn't even bother to check what happened as no one was willing to report?" I got angrier, "We don't know, what if Min Hyuk tried to kill her?"

"Yes! Exactly! We don't know!" he tried to finish the argument. Even though Soo Jae has anger issues and I'm the calmest guy he'd ever meet, I can get scary when I'm mad. "Let's go question his wife again!" he said and left the conversation towards the car.

At first Min Hyuk's wife refused to admit the fact, but Soo Jae used his Police Card and my Lawyer Card to pressurize and threaten her by the charges she'll receive for not coping with the police and helping in attempted murder.

"I told you! He was trying to kill her!" I told Soo Jae when we were done questioning Min Hyuk's wife.

"You were right. He seized Yoon Ah's parent's money from the bank and when she threatened him by telling the police, he planned to kill her." Soo Jae explained.

"I think she had another 'valid' reason to kill Min Hyuk, aren't I right?" I mocked Soo Jae.

"Yeah! But she still should be punished if she's alive!" he replied rudely. "Now let's go question the old man and see what he knows about the accident." Soo Jae suggested. We left to Yoon Ah's neighborhood because the old man lived there too.

"Woo Yeon! You go check around and ask people, I'll go ask the old man. Understood?" he ordered and I did as I was told.

I walked towards Yoon Ah's house. It was empty and locked. No one lived there. I saw 2 old ladies passing by and asked them.

"Hello there grandmother!" I greeted them politely with a smile.

"Oh! What is this handsome young man doing here?" they asked with those grandmother vibes.

I scoffed. "Thank you!" I stopped. "By any chance, do you know who lives here, grandmother?"

"Nobody lives here, son. This house has a terrible history." They both sighed in sorrow.

"What happened?" I asked.

"A couple lived here, they had a beautiful, young daughter and lived happily. Their daughter, poor Yoon Ah, she was such a kind, polite and adorable girl, but since after her parent's death, she had to suffer terribly. Someone took her money and seized her parent's properties and kicked her out of the house. She was just in school at that time. She worked many part-time jobs to survive, she couldn't even pay her tuition fees, thus had to drop out of school. She even worked at people's home but was treated harshly. Her bosses made her do all the job and didn't even pay less than half of the money she deserved. The last 3 years of her life became like hell for her. All we could do to help her was to let her live with us sometimes and feed her but she was often homeless." She stopped.
