Date Night

After I went home that day, I layed on my teal and gray bedding. I thought about what I was gonna do on Saturday. I didn't have anything planned, so I was going to ask Luke on a date. After I went to sleep, I woke up the next morning and drove to school. When I got there, I met Luke in the parking lot and we both said at the same time," I have to tell you something important." You go ahead, I said! He said ok, and then spoke. May? Yes? Will you go on a date with me on Saturday? Yes! I was going to ask you the same thing! We hugged and then set up a date at my house at 6:00. We said bye and then saw each other in Home Ec. The whole day I was anxious to get home and pick out a dress. After choir, I went to the car line. I saw Luke there and I told him I would see him tonight. My mom picked me up and we both waved goodbye. When we drove off my mom said," yall are so cute together!" When we got home, It was 4:00. I went straight to my closet and picked out a mint colored dress with a coral belt and black high heel boots. I got on my laptop and started recording. Hey guys! I am going on my first date today! Eeeeek! I'm going to be showing you makeup tips today. First pimples, then foundation, then I got out my makeup bag. I put on a pink eyeshadow with some blush. I also curled my hair and put on some pink lipstick. I smiled for the camera then waved goodbye. Then I turned off the camera. The doorbell rang 2 minutes later. I answered the door and Luke was in a shirt and tie and blue jeans. You look great! He said. Thanks you too! Come in. He walked in and sat down. So what are we going to do? He asked. Well I'm driving and you'll see when we get there! I got my keys and he said," May Burch,I love your surprises!" I giggled, then I told my mom bye and me and Luke got in the car. I drove and turned on the radio. When we got there he smiled. It was Casa del rio! I knew he loved it! We walked in and got a table. We sat and looked at the menu. When we ordered and were done eating, he said," I guess the night is over." Nope I replied! You drive to your house and get your bathing suit. He hopped in the drivers seat and when we got to his house, he went in and came out with his swim trunks. I got back in the drivers seat and we drove back to my house. He went to the bathroom and I went to my room and got my blue,white, and pink bathing suit on. We both came out and smiled! Let's go! Let's go! We got outside to the pool and we were going to jump on three. 1.... 2..... 3.... Luke pushed me in and I screamed! The water was 80 degrees and when he sat on the edge of the pool, I pulled him in. He laughed and we layed on our backs in the water, held hands, and looked at the bright shining stars. We sat there until, he got back up and kissed me under the stars. I smiled and then I leaned on him. Another 20 minutes later, we got out and our fingers were like prunes! We laughed then we both changed and then he hugged me goodbye and I drove him home. When we got their, I walked him in." I had a GREAT time May!" Me too! I said. See you Monday May! See you Monday Luke! We hugged again and then he closed the door. I got in my car and drove home. I layed down in my bed and fell asleep to the sound of the loud crickets outside.
