Another Date

When I got home that night no one was awake. So I went to my room and layed down on my bed.

In the morning my dog, Winston, was licking my face. I screamed and pushed him off. Then I called him to come eat his dog food. I got out my owl mug then started the pot. When I was ready to go, I got my coffee, kissed my mom that was asleep, then drove to school. When I got there, we got our report cards. I started reading the grades in my head. 100,89,98,100,90,100. Yes! One B. Not bad for my first 6 weeks! When lunch came around, I sat with Luke instead of the plastics. They came by our table and asked me why I say with the football team. I told them that I haven't gotten to see him lately. They sat back down and then Luke asked me on a date. I said yes then he told me he would pick me up at 8:30. After the bell rang, the next classes went by fast. At the end of the day I drive home and got ready. I curled my hair, then I put on a grey collared shirt and a black skirt. When Luke got to my house he walked right in. He knocked on my bedroom door and I told him to come in. He held my hand and walked me down the stairs. He opened my car door and then I got in. We drove for an hour jamming out to music. Then we pulled up to a cliff as the sun was setting. He opened the door again for me and I got out. I twirled around and followed him to the trunk. He pulled out a picnic basket and a plaid blanket. I held the blanket and his hand, as we walked to the edge. I spread the blanket out and then Luke started to pull things out of the basket. He pulled out 2 chicken sandwiches, a pitcher of lemonade,2 cookies, and 1 cup. I giggled in my mind. He poured the lemonade then said,"Bon appetite!" We both took a bite of our sandwich and said,"Mmm." We both reached for the glass and our hands touched. I smiled then he leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. He grabbed the glass and said," I get first sip!" We both laughed then I took a drink. When we were both slapping the Mosquitos off of us, we packed everything up and then got back in the car. When we got in, I leaned over and whispered in Luke's ear." I had an amazing time." He started the car and then said, me too. The rest of the way home, we listened to music. When we got back to my house, it was 12:00. " if you want to stay at my house tonight you can, my parents won't mind." Luke smiled then said," that would be great." When we got in the house, we walked up to my room. I told Luke to stay outside my door while I changed. When I got done I let him change into my shirt. I grabbed an extra mattress that we had and put it on the floor with a blanket and sheet. He layed down and then I layed down on my bed. Winston came in and crawled in Luke's mini bed. I giggled then said," he likes you! Goodnight." Goodnight he said. Then we fell asleep. Luke on his mini mattress and me in my bed.
