It was a beautiful day, as Mikael entered the bar. Ever since Klaus had allowed the wolves to live in the Quarter, the bar was popular among both wolves and what was left of the vampires in the Quarter. This particular day, only the wolves were here, which was why he was there. Before the wolves could put up much of a fight, he fed on the lot of them to get his strength back. He usually fed on vampires, but these wolves were doable for him. Then, after he'd finished feeding, he saw one of his children. His only true living son, since he didn't see Klaus as his, because of Klaus not being his blood.
In a moment, he'd blurred over to him on the other side of the bar, away from the massacre of fed upon wolves, and pinned him against the bar, the White Oak stake in hand. He never was one to miss an opportunity, and this was an opportunity for him to kill one of the most loyal to the bastard hybrid he hated so much.
"Father?" Elijah inquired, shocked at his resurrection. It didn't last long though, because a moment later, he found himself trying to stop him from killing him with the White Oak stake.
"Hello, son. I had hoped to see your brother first, but we have some unfinished business as well," Mikael replied, before showing the White Oak stake. Then he tried to stake him in the heart. He was strong with wolf blood in him, but not as strong without a vampire to feed on. Feeding on vampires was his source of food.
Suddenly, just as he made the stake start piercing Elijah's skin, causing him pain, Mikael's plan was put on hold, when he was pushed away from Elijah by Klaus.
Klaus had gone to the bar with Caroline for a drink, but had been greeted with a gruesome sight. Wolves on the ground, Mikael alive, and Mikael trying to kill Elijah.
In a blur, he tossed him away from Elijah, saving his elder brother.
"Hello, boy," Mikael stated to him, standing a distance away with the White Oak stake in hand.
"Father," Klaus replied.
Caroline didn't know who this vampire was that had tried to kill Elijah a few minutes ago, but when Klaus called him his father, she immediately realized that this was Mikael. The vampire that hunted and fed on vampires. But if that was the case, she assumed that him feeding on wolves meant he'd been desperate to feed. Although, she had heard that he wasn't a fan of wolves. Because of the things she'd heard about him back when everyone had tried killing Klaus, she stayed a distance from the door, as to not get herself put in any danger. Although, him being a lot older than herself and seemingly unpredictable, she wasn't sure if she'd be safe staying where she was.
Klaus went to stand between Elijah and Mikael. He was ready for a fight if it came down to it. After all, Mikael too, was a monster like his mother was.
"Why don't you go back to whatever rock you crawled out of. Or would you prefer to meet your demise, once more?" Klaus threatened him.
"I'd be more satisfied if you met yours," Mikael simply replied. "I think I'd like to play a game first. You enjoy a good game of chess. Let's see who wins. Shall we?" Then, before even Klaus could react, Mikael blurred off with Caroline. The one person with whom he'd die for if it came down to it. Sweet Caroline.
Mikael stopped at an abandoned warehouse-like place with her, letting her go once they were inside.
"I trust you'll behave yourself."
"What are you going to do to me?" she wanted to know.
"Nothing if you behave. I need Niklaus to be truly afraid of me."
