Against Odds - A Sova Fanfiction (Valorant)

Chapter 8

Brimstone decided to launch out a full team to help Harbor and Astra, while another team would help find Skye.

Brimstone sat at his desk, staring at the screen in front of him. He had received information about the location of the new radiant base, Lotus, and he knew that he had to act quickly. He quickly typed in the coordinates and sent them to the agents who were already deployed.

"Yoru, Jett, Phoenix," he said into his comms device. "I'm sending you the coordinates for the new base. Harbor and Astra are already on the ground, and they could use your support. Get there as fast as you can."

"Copy that, Brimstone," Yoru's voice came through the comms. "We're on our way. ETA: 10 minutes."

Brimstone nodded, relieved that the agents were already on their way. He just hoped that they would be able to get there in time to help Harbor and Astra. He knew that they were facing a tough enemy, and he couldn't afford to lose any more agents.

Sage nodded, her expression determined. "And what about Skye?" she asked. "She was supposed to be with Harbor and Astra, but we haven't heard from her in hours. We have to find her."

Brimstone nodded, his mind made up. "I'll send Sova and Killjoy to track her down," he said, typing out a message on his comms device. "They'll use her last known location to find her and bring her back safely."

Sage nodded, satisfied with the plan. "I'll go prep the agents for deployment," she said, before turning and heading out of the room.

Sova and Killjoy arrived at the main hall, ready to embark on their mission to locate Skye.

"We have her last known location," Sova said, studying the map on his comms device. "But we need to be prepared for anything. The enemy is likely to have set up traps and obstacles to try and slow us down."

Killjoy nodded in agreement. "We'll have to use all of our skills and abilities to stay one step ahead," she said. "But we can do this. We're the best agents for the job."

Sova smiled confidently. "That's right," he said. "We can take on anything the enemy throws at us. And when we find Skye, we'll bring her back safely to the base."

With that, the two agents set out on their mission, determined to find Skye and bring her home safely.

Sova and Killjoy stepped off the plane and into the thick, humid jungle of India. The air was thick with the smell of moist earth and the sounds of chirping insects and the distant call of exotic birds.

"This is it," Sova said, looking around at their surroundings. "This is where Skye's last known location was. Let's start tracking her down."

Killjoy nodded, her eyes scanning the jungle for any sign of their fellow agent. "Do you have a plan in mind?" she asked.

Sova shrugged. "We'll start by following her last known trajectory and see if we can pick up her trail. If that doesn't work, we'll try to track her using our abilities. You can use your bots, and I can use my arrows to scan for energy signatures."

Killjoy nodded, and the two agents set off into the jungle, determined to find their missing teammate and bring her home safely.

Sova and Killjoy arrived just in time to see Skye in the midst of a shootout with members of the Valorant Legion. They could see her crouched behind a tree, barking commands at her tasmanian tiger, which was made entirely of wood with hints of green.

As they approached, they could see the enemy agents frantically trying to fend off the ferocious animal.

"Skye!" Sova shouted, pulling out his sidearm and firing at the enemy agents.
