3rd POV

"Did you get anything, Taehyung?" Hoseok asked. Taehyung sighs. "Not yet."

"Are you worried?"

"Namjoon is smart. When giving a location with his hidden device he only has one shot. The signal will only show for a few moments. They are probably moving him around."

Hoseok nods. He understands now.

"How is the girl?" Taehyung asked to change the subject. "She's fine. Seokjin found out she was knocked out with sleeping gas. She'll wake up on her own."

"Did Seokjin lose his job or something? Isn't he a surgeon?" Taehyung asked.

"He is a surgeon, yes. He also doesn't really need to be there. He's just a paid volunteer surgeon. He's good but his real job is with us."

"A side hustle?"

Hoseok chuckles. "I guess you can say that. Not everyone can say working at a hospital is a side hustle."

Silence filled the room. It was a comfortable silence.

"How are you, Jimin, and Yoongi getting along?" Taehyung knew of their past relationship. He also knew it was because of him and Jungkook that they broke it off.

"Good, I guess. Jimin won't leave Yoongi alone anymore. Yoongi is getting irritated by it. I, on the other hand, enjoy that they are comfortable with each other now."

Taehyung nods his head. "That's good. Do you mind staying here while I go find Jungkook? Make sure you report to me when a signal shows."

"Alright."

Taehyung walks out of the meeting room to find Jungkook. Walking down the hallways he makes his way to one of the guest's bedrooms.

Opening the door Taehyung speaks. "Jungkook, we need to talk about..." He stops his words as he stares at the man.

"Why don't you knock!?" Jungkook yelled, turning off his tv.

"Why were you watching Carebears?" Taehyung laughed. Jungkook just blushed. "Nothing! What did you want to talk about!?" He just wanted to change the subject.

"Well, I wanted to talk about your progress and your little team."

"What about them?"

"No, you first. How's the leg?" Taehyung asked, walking up to his wrapped up leg. "Pretty good. It's still sensitive to movement, but I guess that's because of the open wound."

Taehyung nods his head. Stopping next to his left leg he speaks. "Still hurts?"

"Yeah."

"Alright."

With a quick movement Taehyung flicks the gunshot wound before yelling at him. "What the fuck do you think you're doing!?"

Jungkook scrunches in pain. "What the hell!?"

"While you are here, 'resting', our team members are getting along."

"Why is that a problem? Aren't we supposed to like each other for this stupid collab?"

Taehyung rolls his eyes. "Get along, not love each other. You know what Hoseok asked me during our first mission?"

Jungkook stares at him. "I wasn't exactly there to hear him, so no."

"He asked what we were going to do once this is over. Do we stay allies or go back to being enemies? I told him to ask you since I can't speak on your behalf. Did he ever speak to you?"

Jungkook thinks for a moment. "He did ask me. I gave him an honest answer."

"And that would be?" Taehyung wanted to know what was going to happen to their friendship after this.
