In the Gryffindor common room, Harry Potter was being showered with congratulations, praise, and cheers. He was very happy that Voldemort was no more, but he wanted to escape all the attention. All he really wanted was a cup of tea, alone with his friends.
"Congratulations, Harry."
Harry recognized the light, airy voice as none other than Luna Lovegood. Harry turned round to share hugs with Luna and Hermoine as well.
"Thanks, Luna. Hey, where's Ron?"
"Oh, he's with Seamus. They're on their way here now," Hermoine answered.
As if on cue, Ron and Seamus entered the common room.
"OY! Harry, my man! You didn't think you wouldn't see me here! Congrats, mate!"
"Thanks..." Harry said, but he was a bit distracted. He didn't see before, but Ginny had been right behind the two boys.
"Harry!" Ginny said, and they ran to each other before sharing a hug.
Under his breath, Harry said, "Um, Ginny? Any way we could get out of here? Somewhere... less crowded? I'm dying for a cup of tea."
"Well, why didn't you just say so?"
CRACK.
And moments later, they were in the Room of Requirement with two steaming cups of tea.
"Ginny, I owe you one," Harry said breathlessly. He savored the very first sip of his tea, despite the slight burn on his lip.
"Let's call it even. I've owed you for too long."
And with that, along came a kiss. An exceptionally long kiss, as a matter of fact.
"Harry, I'm just gonna make this brief: let's start this over. I've liked you since I started here at Hogwarts. What do you say?"
"Uh, YEAH!" Along came another kiss, and they left the Room of Requirement, with their hands interlocked and their tea still hot.
