Hinny's Happily Ever After

Chapter 3

After what seemed like forever, it was finally Christmas break for the Hogwarts students. Harry was elated, for he would be seeing Ginny again for the first time for three months. He had been allowed by Mr. and Mrs. Weasley to pick Ginny up and escort her to the Christmas party.

CRACK.

He arrived at King's Cross station, just in time to see the Hogwarts express rolling in to Platform 9 and three-quarters. Just as soon, he saw fiery red hair through the windows and couldn't help but smile.

"Harry!" Ginny ran up to him and they shared a long kiss.

"Bloody hell, Harry. Long time no see!"

"Come on, let's go."

"Go where?"

Harry put out his arm for her.
"Close your eyes," Harry insisted. She grabbed his arm.

CRACK.

A moment later, they were at Number 12, Grimmauld Place.

"Get ready," Harry told Ginny.

"What do I wear? I don't know where we're going." Ginny replied with a laugh.

"Well.. dress formal, and I am not telling you where we're going." Harry said, trying to stay serious. The two broke out in laughter, and Ginny started curling her hair with her wand. Her fiery red locks bounced up with the flick of her wrist.

Harry snuck up behind her, and put his hands around her waist.
"You look beautiful," Harry said.

The next thing he knew, his arms were in her sweet-smelling hair, her arms were around his neck, and they remained together underneath the mistletoe.

"C'mon, we don't want to be late. You'll see."

And with that, they Disapparated out of Harry's house, hand in hand.
