I quickly got up and opened the door. It was a guy who looked like my age. He had ash black hair, pale skin, and grey eyes. He was wearing black jeans, black high tops, and a black button down shirt. He said, "Hi, my name's Jeff and I just wanted to meet the new girl." "Hi, I'm Jane ." I replied. He smiled and asked, "Do you want me to show you around?" "Sure." I said. I stepped outside into the hall. Thats when I remembered that he wasn't wearing the same clothes as everyone else. So I asked , "Do you mind if I ask you a question?" Not all, go ahead." he said. "How come you're not wearing all white like everyone else?" I asked. He chuckled and said, "Because I disobeyed." I smiled a little and said,"So you're a bad boy." "Kind of. Except I'm usually quiet. You're the third person here that isn't a crazed lunatic." He said. "Oh really? How do you know that?" I asked. " You moved right across from me. And that's the not crazed lunatic area." He said as we walked around the bingo table, where an old lady claimed to be talking to a pirate that died at sea. As we walked around a bit I noticed that we were the only ones that were wearing black. "Jeff we're the only people wearing black." "Yeah well Ben went insane so he had to be transferred to the insane side." He replied. "Oh." Was all I could say. "So how long have you been in here?" I asked. "Oh about 2 months." he replied. "Do you need help unpacking?" He asked. "Sort of." I said. We walked back to my room and I opened the door and stepped in, Jeff right behind me. He helped my make my bed and put away my stuff. Then he left and I thanked him for the tour and the help of unpacking. When I closed the door and he left I couldn't help a giant grin on my face. I looked at myself in the mirror and I couldn't help but smile again. I think I'm going to like it here.
