I was stunned at first. Then I hugged him back. After a while he pulled back, still smiling at me. Then said, "Congrats Jane! You're now leaving this mad house tomorrow!" "Yeah." Was all I manage to say. I was happy about leaving and seeing Sky again. But I was sad that I wouldn't see Jeff again. He noticed my smile fade. Then asked, "Whats wrong? For a person thats about to leave a prison, you look sad." "Its nothing." I replied. "Come on tell me. PLEASE!" "Ok." I said. "Jeff I'm sad that when I leave I won't see you again." There was a moment of silence. Then an idea popped into my head. "Hey Jeff. When do you get out of this mad house?" A look of mischief crossed his face for half a second. Then he quickly masked it with sadness. "Jane. I'm not sure if... if I'm ever getting out." "Jeff. You're perfectly sane. You don't deserve to be here." I said. "Don't worry about me." And with that Jeff left.
7 hours later....
As I sat on my bed, I couldn't help my mixed emotions. I sat there in the dark. Thinking about everything thats about to happen tomorrow. Thoughts swimming around in my head. Until I grew tired, I went under the covers of my bed and fell asleep.OOOOOHHHH
