On the verge of sanity

Chapter 9

Just then someone knocked on my door. I laughed a little to myself one more time. Then I opened the door. It was Jeff. He smiled and said, "You want to have breakfast with me?" "Sure." I replied. We walked to breakfast together. They were serving waffles. When we got our breakfast we sat down at a table in the corner. Then he asked, "Did you hear that laugh?" I tried my best not to burst out laughing. Then I replied, "Yes I did." Then I heard a lot of people talking about too. Even some of the cooks. I couldn't help but smile. Then I noticed Jeff looking at me with shock all over his face. Then he smiled a little and said, "Well case solved. But this can be our little secret." He winked and smiled. I smiled and blushed a bit. I am really enjoying being here. After we finished eating breakfast Jeff said, "Want to go watch a movie?" "They have a movie theater here?" I asked. "Not like a big one, but like a giant living room with a flat screen t.v." He said. I stared at him. Then I said, "Sure why not." We walked to what looked like an entertainment center. An entertainment center for an asylum of course. One room was where we played bingo. The door next to that room lead outside to a tennis court. The door next to that was the one we entered. It was white. And had a soft chairs and a comfy looking couch. At the front of the room was a giant flat screen t.v. I took a seat on the couch. While Jeff picked movie to watch. Then he put in a movie to watch. When he turned around, he had a wicked smile on his face. Then he sat down on a wavy chair with cushions on it. "What movie are we watching?" I asked him. All he said was, "You'll see." There were a few trailers then Jeff hit play. He hit play a too fast before I could read what the title was. Then I realized what movie we were watching. It was the first Insidious movie. I haven't seen this movie in forever. Every time I jumped at a part he would chuckle. After the movie ended we got up and went to our rooms. I laid in bed and grabbed my phone. I texted Skylar.
Me: HI!!
Sky: HI!! How are you!! I miss you so much!
Me: Miss you too Sky!
Sky:Ever since you left Sarah has been talking non stop about how you went to the asylum.
Me: Figures. It was her idea.
Sky: I'm sorry you're there.
Me: Don't worry about it. There is one good thing about this place.
Sky: Whats that?
Me: Good food. And entertainment!
Sky: Thats 2 things.
Me: Yeah well what ever!
Sky: hahaha. Well any way gtg. Breakfast time. Ttyl. Love ya!
Me: Love ya too!
It felt good talking to Skylar again.
I put my phone to charge and put on music. All of a sudden I got the urge to laugh. So I did. And I couldn't stop. I got up and tripped and hit my head. I got knocked out. Before I blacked out I could hear myself laughing.
