I got up. Did a quick hair check then went to open the door. Jeff was wearing black skinny jeans, black button down shirt, black high tops, and black tie with really thin lines of purple. I had to admit. He looked handsome. He looked at me and said,"Wow. You look gorgeous!" I blushed a little at his comment. "Thanks." I replied. "Shall we go then?" He asked holding his arm out to me. I gladly took it then closed the door behind. Instead of going down the hall to the main stair case, he lead me to the back of the hall. There was a door that I had never noticed. He opened it and there were stairs leading down. As we descended the stairs I couldn't help a feeling of butterflies in my stomach mixed with a little curiosity. As we neared the bottom of the stairs I could hear music. The music was so loud that I was surprised that I didn't hear it at the top of the stairs. At the bottom there was a door. Jeff opened it and I thanked him as I stepped inside. When I looked inside I couldn't believe my eyes. This party was better than any other high school party I've been to. The room was lit up by a purple light, and there were other lights flashing too. At the other end of the wall there was an incredibly long table that was filled with food. Including a giant chocolate fountain, a white chocolate fountain, and a caramel fountain. There were all sorts of chips. And I was surprised to see mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings. And so many other foods that I couldn't list them all. Opposite of that wall was a mini bar. But instead of soft drinks there were soda, juice, water, and punch. I was glad to see that the party didn't encourage under age drinking. And it looked like everyone at the party were teenagers. Then Jeff popped up behind me and said, "Care to dance." I smiled and he grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dance floor. A slow song was on. After hours of dancing to different kinds of music we finally left and went back to our rooms. It was 4 a.m. and I was about ready to pass out. As I entered my room I plopped down in my bed and went to sleep. I dreamt about what just that night. I was filled with happy dreams as I slept peacefully.
