Yayìu centered herself within the middle of the training ring, gracefully taking her stance.

Only a few feet from her was a focused Lo'ak, who held a cane in his hand. Waiting for the overseer to signal the start of the battle.

Various thoughts swelled into their eyes as they both tried their best to focus on each other's possible movements. Growing anxious of the call he'd soon release, Yayìu gripped the cane cautiously. Neither have spoken to each other since that night behind the waterfall, limiting themselves only to conversations of Lo'aks iknimaya.

The atmosphere around them was calm yet strained, you could cut the lingering tension a knife. At the release of the signal they inched closer circling each other slowly waiting for either one of them the attack, hesitant of what the other held up their sleeve. Yayìu struck the first blow growing tired of the anticipation, but it was blocked off from Lo'aks cane pushing her back from the impact.

Yayìu had been incredibly frustrated with the boy's presence. Why did Lo'ak have to make this so complicated? Whatever he felt 'this' was— a vibe that he so called described.

Her attacks grew sloppy as she no longer focused on the task at hand, she was using this training as a way to release her frustrations. Yet she crumbled under his speculative glaze as he ran his eyes over her to indicate upcoming moves. Seeking to land another frustrated blow, Lo'ak ran his cane through the sand throwing it into her eyes. Taking heed to the suggestion of using the environment around him as defense.

Stumbling down she tried to quickly remove the sand from her eyes, looking for any indication of the boys presence that lingered in front of her. Using the shadow that towered over her, she quickly swiped Lo'ak up with her thicker tail causing him to tumble on top of her.

Her vision cleared revealing his face above hers, breaths apart just as the dream she had many moons ago. Only there wasn't a welcoming kiss, or an heartfelt whisper piercing into her ears. Lo'ak quickly removed himself before placing his gaze onto the sand below him waiting for the next task. Yayìu remained flustered as she stood to her feet, removing any uncomfortable particles of sand along her body.

"Now you will hunt." She spoke flatly before nodding over towards her adviser. "Puktxo will assist you now."

Muddled from such words Puktxo quickly approached her side, making sure that his back faced Lo'ak as he spoke lightly into her ear. "Yayìu the boy is ready."

"There's nothing left for him to prove, the ritual is in two moons he must rest."

Both na'vi knew he was ready, and the completion ritual was around the corner. She'd reached her limit for the day and it was clear she needed some space. The presence of Lo'ak was clouding both her judgement and training sessions.
