Lo'ak finished his rite of passage as a free diver, but the boy wasn't done yet. It was only the beginning.

The metkayina clan were know for their carefully crafted spears from the mangrove tree. Hunters now had to complete the ritual of combat both on off the water to prevent any disadvantages amongst them.

"Combat." Yayìu spoke quickly as she circled lo'ak who currently occupied the sand. "A passage you must take both in and out of water."

Loak silently took in all of the information never removing his eyes from Yayìu's scholarly gaze. She rambled on about the duty loak's father bestowed upon the reef with new fighting tactics for the clan to learn.

Jake had been more productive within the village, seeking and providing advice with metkayina clan. Though the war came to an end he never wanted to be taken by surprise again, knowing the sky people were lurking around the corner. He suggested the village implemented proper protocols in case trouble arrived in their seas.

"Advantages or not, Use them to your best capability." Stopping in speech right in front of metkayina in training.

"Watch closely."

Taking her spot, along with her trusted advisor and former teacher. The two motioned 'Oel ngati kameie' before beginning their demonstration of training. Yayìu embraced the sand against the soles for her feet, planting them in sand for a structured stance.

"Kä'!" 'Go!'  The advisor exclaimed, charging towards the smirking na'vi.

Lo'ak squatted down in the sand across from the two warriors watching carefully of their movements. Studying Yayìu's movements, he noticed how synchronized and sophisticated; yet effortless she'd been with her movements. Her body was strong yet graceful due to her flexibility, almost as if she brought the ripples of sea with her on land.

Lo'ak fixated his eyes along the warriors body, which glistened in awe unable to pull themselves from her radiant ambience. He was snapped back to reality as the advisors body met the sand, shoot up into his eyes.

Breathing heavily Yayìu grabbed one of the training canes from it's cubby before approaching Lo'ak rubbing sand from his eyes eagerly.

"Ready?" She questioned holding the spear out him.

As his blurry vision cleared, his eyes invited the warming smile that currently occupied Yayìu's beauty.
