Downpour on such a calm night, a night that held meaning and emotions; grief
Downpour in a car on it's way to a place that brought joy to the male on certain circumstances; the airport
Downpour on skin that glowed when touched by a certain angel in his life; the one he left behind
Rain couldn't compare to the current waterflow, the flow of water that released emotions that couldn't be described with words
Tears of pure pain. Pain of losing his matching puzzle piece. Pain of leaving his lover behind
He knew it wouldn't be easy leaving someone he created a strong bond with, someone he knew he'd love for the rest of his life
But he had no choice. It was the better option
Hyunjin took in a deep breath as the doors automatically slid open, revealing the inside of the airport where many people sat and waited for their flight
He took in a sharp breath as he stepped through the metal detector, loading his luggage for scanning aswell, thankfully coming out successful and safe
Hyunjin kept his head down, eyes constantly leaking tears and he walked and rolled his luggage with him to the counter
He didn't waste anymore time, purchasing his plane ticket in a hurry as he grabbed his luggage once again and headed to the waiting area
He watched through the wide range of windows as more planes arrived on the sight, flight hostesses and pilots loading into the planes, preparing for their next take off
He felt a pair of fingers gently tap on his shoulder, causing him to flinch a bit before turning his head to the figure
It was an elderly woman with the sweetest smile on her face, sending a bit of hope Hyunjin's way
"Excuse me young man, is this seat taken?" She asked, pointing to the seat beside Hyunjin with a smile growing
"O-Oh, no, you can sit here if you'd like" Hyunjin replied, watching as the lady sat down with a sigh
"Where are you headed?" She asked, cutting the silence in half as her smile faltered
"Vegas. The plane should be ready by now" He replied, fiddling with his fingers as he felt a lump form in his throat "And you?"
"England...again. I still have half an hour to wait for that plane" She said, letting out a breathy chuckle, corners of her mouth twitching as her smile faltered a bit more
Hyunjin sensed that the elderly lady was endearing just as much pain as he was, but he wasn't about to ask her about it
He always had a soft spot for the elderly, seing an old lady or man in such a miserable state shattered his heart more than anything
He couldn't do anything about the lady's pain except be there for her for the short moment they had in that waiting area
"Are you okay, my boy?" The lady asked, resting her hand on the male's shoulder, rubbing it in a soothing and comforting manner
Hyunjin took a deep breath as tears pricked his eyes, stinging the whites until they turned a shade of pink sinking into deeper red
"I'll be fine" He replied, resting his hand on the lady's hand that rested on his shoulder, looking the lady in her pained eyes
"Are you okay ma'am?" He asked, cursing himself in his head as a tear rolled down his cheek
"No, but you learn to live with it" she replied, a pained tear of her own falling down her cheek
