yo, new DHMIS fan song dropped (this shit slaps)
"As Above So Below" —KMODO

"You idiot!" Someone shouted in an auto-tune-like voice, "That was my favorite shredder! No—DON'T TELL ME TO SHUT UP!"
Y/N stirred around on the chair and tried to block out the yelling by throwing a pillow over their head, but shot up when the noise of glass shattering was heard from the room over, their head throbbing in pain from the quick movement. They'd stand up and stumble a bit as they waddled over to the kitchen, their hand gripping the frame and hanging over to the side and looking inside the room, witnessing a very gruesome fight.
"I'LL FUCKING KILL HIM!" Robin would shout, growling, and flailing around while trying to reach out to a sobbing Manny but was restricted by Red, who had Robin's torso tightly wrapped in his arms to prevent him from getting anywhere. Y/N's reaction was to rush over to Manny.
"What happened?!" Y/N asked, noticing that Manny was also tightly holding his arm which was leaking something red like blood.
"I—I bumped into the shredder, a—and it fell over," Manny's words shook a bit as he started pointing at the duck who was basically foaming at the mouth, "then he...he bit me!"
"BECAUSE YOU BROKE MY BELOVED SHREDDER!" Robin raged as he went back to squirming around in Red's arms and trying to fight his way through. Y/N looked over at the shredder that lay on its side with the shredded contents spilled out, yet the shredder itself looked perfectly fine.
"It's not broken through," Y/N flatly said, looking over at Robin.
     "YES, IT IS!"
     "No, it's not. Just—look,"
Manny's arm would drop as Y/N walked over to the shredder and lifted the box of it, dumping the rest out and making a pile of the ripped papers. They'd stand the box up normally and then place the lid back on it and plug the shredder into the wall and glance around the room before grabbing Robin's newspaper and standing beside the shredder. Y/N made eye contact with Robin while the two others watched what unfolded Y/N began to lower their hand as the sounds of the machine whirring while consuming the paper with a harsh pitch screech while the paper crunched and ripped to shreds, the noise echoing in the room until it fell silent.
"See? Not broken," Y/N said, dusting their hands off and walking over to Manny and starting to guide him upstairs, "Come on, let's go get you cleaned up."
Once they left, the other two remained. Robin let out an irritated grumble while eyeing the pile of ripped paper next to the shredder, "Now they got the floor all dirty."

"This might sting, but it'll get the job done," Y/N commented as they dabbed some hydrogen peroxide on a clean rag. Manny nodded nervously before removing his hand from his wounded arm to reveal deep bite marks that were left behind by Robin, which were soon covered up by the damp rag being pressed onto his arm, Manny's response was hissing in pain.
"Sorry.." They'd mumble, removing the rag after a few moments and gently blowing on the wound to help relieve the pain, using that same rag after to wipe off the blood that dripped down his arm and the blood that stained his hand. Y/N grabbed the bandage wraps and slowly wrapped them around his arm to cover up the wound.
     "Better?"
"Yeah...thanks," Manny smiled at Y/N and sniffled a bit, sliding off the toilet lid he sat on.
"You're welcome, bud." Y/N rubbed his hair and lead him out of the room until Red passed the door and make them stop in their tracks.
"Robin wants you to clean the paper up and he'll bite me if I try to clean it for you," Red said as he looked into the room and gestured for Manny to follow him, "So..might as well go down there so he calms down."
"Alright, got it." Y/N made a thumbs up and watched as Manny and Red walked off, switching moods once they were gone and groaning in annoyance. They knew that Robin was probably going to be looming over them and expecting it was all clean and nothing is left behind, not because he was a neat freak but by feeling petty.
Y/N stomped down the steps till they reached the bottom and glared at Robin, who peeked over his newspaper while glaring daggers at Y/N. They'd both continue their staring until Y/N turned to go to the closet and get a broom and dustpan and turned back to the pile of paper.

After a few minutes of sweeping up the paper, it was all cleaned up with no trace of the paper left. Y/N sighed and dumped the paper from the pan into the trash, placing the broom and pan back into the closet. They'd walk back into the kitchen and quickly notice a napkin that had five cookies stacked on top of each other.
"Did you put this here?" Y/N asked Robin, who poked his head around the newspaper and looked back inside.
"No..." Robin would reply, his voice sounding fake as he tried making himself sounding sound unsure. He'd stick his head deeper into the papers of the boring news.
"Well, whoever did, that was very nice of them." Y/N cooed a bit and walked over to Robin, gently rubbing the top of his head and petting him. His feathers shook and he quaked in surprise, quickly waving Y/N's arm away.
"Yeah, yeah, hands off!" He'd look back at his papers and frown to try to cover up the embarrassment with anger, Y/N taking this as a win and walking away with the cookies.

Hushed murmurs echoed from the trio's bedroom as the sudden boom of laughter echoed after a few times, the laughing shook Y/N a bit since it was so unexpected, but they grew used to it once they got closer to the door and pushed it open.
Red sat on the ground with two puppets in both of his hands as he sang some song in a monotone voice while making the puppets perform, this seeming to entertain Manny as he giggled every so often at what unfolded in front of him. The puppets in Red's hands looked like Robin and Manny, and they seemed to be singing about something that made no sense while the puppet Manny seemed to be kicking Robin's ass.
Y/N walked over to Manny and sat on the left side of him, joining in on watching the chaotic puppet musical. They also handed Manny two cookies to snack on during the show.
"Now let's all agree, to never be creative again," Red finished, both Y/N and Manny following that with loud clapping, "thank you, thank you, I'm here all night."
Red would bow and then make the puppets on his hands bow as well, Y/N finding that adorable. Manny attempted to whistle but only failed and just blew out air, trying again and again till he gave up, but he continued to clap until Red set the puppets down.
"Spectacular! For that, you deserve this." Y/N handed two cookies to Red since they felt guilty to only give one, but because of this they only had one left. Red quickly noticed.
"Wait," Red split one of the cookies in half and placed it inside Y/N's hand, "h—here.. now it's even."
"Oh, thanks..." Y/N mumbled, blushing slightly and smiling at Red before taking a bite out of the half-cookie.

The whole day was spent doing random things that were seen as entertaining enough to pass hours. Most of it was spent with Y/N, Red, and Manny until Robin joined later on. Despite the day being a little boring and awkward, they still managed to find stuff to pass time quicker, which worked pretty well since the moon was out and Manny was getting tired...besides the others.
Y/N tucked Manny into the bed after reading his favorite book, about to step away before he asked something that made them freeze.
"Are you my (dad/mom/parent)?" He asked innocently, Y/N tilting their head to the side a bit and smiling nervously.
"Why do you ask?"
"Well...you live here with us like a family member, and you act like Harry..which he describes his like a parent," he'd start to pull at his fingers nervously, "So...are you my (dad/mom/parent)?"
Y/N felt like they were going to melt into a puddle from how sweet Manny was, but they help together and gently rested a hand against his cheek, "Yeah, I guess so. Now, you need your sleep.." they'd plant a small kiss on Manny's forehead, "Sleep well."
"Goodnight, Y/N," Manny yawned, snuggling himself against the blankets.
"Goodnight, Manny," Y/N spoke softly and exited the room, leaving the door slightly cracked for the two others when they went upstairs to sleep later. For the time being, they'll just drink tea with the others till they slowly leave for bed.

The song "join the party" is low key a banger tho
