The way that television can corrupt one's mind is fascinating. The ways they show off high-quality animation and storytelling to suck one's mind into the weird land that the magical box shows off to them is something nobody had ever expected when... when people first into existence... no, that doesn't sound correct.

Y/N groaned as they realized they were weirdly narrating random things that were the focus of the room again. They slumped into the couch as the television in front of them flashed with colors and bright lights as the cartoon world reflected into the real world as a bright glow that lit the room around them, shows changing into something different after every few minutes, but they always had something common with each other. The harsh lighting of the screen blinded Y/N's eyes and made them sore, so they grabbed for the remote and were ready to turn off the telly before a fly caught their attention.
The fly buzzed as it flew through the room, Y/N's eyes attached to it as a predator did to its prey, watching as it approached the screen of the TV. Instead of landing on the glass that separated the world from the inside of the screen, it flew through the barrier and straight into the room of the current show that was playing, but the show was one you'd never seen before.

When the fly flew through the screen, it danced around the room once more before landing on the eye of a yellow puppet with a blue mohawk, blue suspenders, and an orange nose. It bounced off the eye of the first puppet and flew away before being smacked with a clipboard by another puppet, this one seemed to be a green duck with a fancy-looking suit on.
"Pesky fly," The duck would comment with a bit of a raspy voice before writing inside its clipboard, "One dead fly."
The duck seemed to be checking off a list of some sort while the camera would pan out to expose the whole area to reveal a third...figure of some sort. It wasn't a puppet, a guy seemed to be more humanoid as the character was more of a costume. The figure was tall, taller than the puppets, red, and had what seemed to be like a mop for a head with two eyes on the top of his head. Y/N didn't care that much for the show at the moment, but they were more intrigued by how the fly was able to get through the screen and to the world that was portrayed on the screen. They stepped close to the screen, cautious in their actions as they approached the TV. Perhaps it IS a magic box like they stated before.
Y/N went to tap the screen, but their finger went through, causing them to gasp quietly and quickly retract their hand, but quickly bring it back to push their finger back inside. The finger was nowhere to be seen on the other side, but it lead to the world on the other side, so why wouldn't it work for them? Y/N shoved their whole arm inside before retracting it and checking it for anything off, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary, so they reassured themself that everything would be alright before going back to sticking body parts through the screen, to which they started with the legs.
As soon as they stuck their legs through the screen, they get pulled in as they yelped out before their vision turns into darkness.

The world slowly faded in as Y/N awoke from their unexpected blackout they tried focusing on what went on around them, and their head throbbed as they tried to regain focus on what was going on around them. Y/N slowly opened their eyes and glanced around their surroundings, but the place they were in didn't look like their house.
Everything around looked like something from those TV shows that you watched earlier. The trees were made from some kind of fabric, and there wasn't much of them, the sky was a perfect blue with obviously fake clouds, and the grass was probably the first thing that did feel real. Yet, when you looked closely, it was just cotton like the rest, but it felt so real.

Y/N stood up and rubbed their head, taking in the world around them as they tried to focus on what happened before they got there.
"I was on the couch, just watching TV, so how did I get here?" They would mumble to themself, staring down at the grass before something popped into their mind. "The fly."
They remembered the fly. Of course, they got here by following that fly! But they didn't land in the house as the fly did, so where were they? Well, it was obvious it was somewhere outside, but where? Y/N started their walk as they began searching around for anything that could help them go back.
