"I'm done. Thanks for the food," Mindy concluded before proceeding to keep her cutlery.

After passing by Jarius' room, she thought about Jarius not having his dinner yet. Gently opening the door, she called, "Jarius!"
No response.
Finding it weird why he hadn't had his meal, Mindy opened the door, curious to know what made him so busy he forgot about it.

It was nothing but games.
Standing firmly, Mindy questioned angrily, "What have you become? Always playing video games, ignoring this family, forgetting to eat and study!"
"Psst!" Jarius mocked. "Definitely beats hardworking you, playing the violin for hours, studying like there's no end! Studying is boring, wanna see me beat this animal softie up?"
"That's so not like you, Jarius!"
"I just realised how great fighting is, and I trained a lot before today! Challenge me to a fight!"
"Why are you challenging me to a fight?"
Jarius looked back at the computer screen. "You see because of your disturbing interruption, I lost the fight and was kicked out!"
Jarius grabbed Mindy forcefully and twisted her wrist. Mindy glazed at him and attempted to break free.
Sweat of tension formed on Mindy's forehead. Jarius forcefully bit Mindy on her cheek, and Mindy screamed.
"Children, what's the commotion?" Mrs Lee hollered, concerned by the noises from Jarius' room. The minute she saw blood on Mindy's cheek, Mrs Lee separated the children. "Jarius, that was mean of you!"
"I was trying to get Jarius to eat his dinner, but he fought back," Mindy recounted briefly.
"You've done what you could," Mr Tan reassured. "I'll take care of the rest. You should go wrap your revision up since your first test's next Monday."
"I will. Thanks."

In Mindy's room, Mindy put on her soundproof headphones and started redoing all her Maths questions. However, loud voices and sniffles were heard, meaning only her side of the problem was dealt with.
