As soon as Mindy and Jarius returned home, their parents were standing in front of the living room with arms akimbo. "Mindy, go to your room," Mrs Lee ordered. "This doesn't have anything related to you." Mindy had no choice but to follow and returned to her room.

In Mindy's room, Mindy looked at her script book and sighed. The cover of her script book had a picture of her family in Hokkaido. (Her dad bunny-eared her) Yet, she felt so detached from her family at that moment.

In the living room, it became a houting match between parents and child. "Why son, why did you choose to disgrace us? Downloading a game we didn't permit you to, getting addicted to it and now being an absolute disgrace to the Tans?!" Mrs Tan screamed.
"If you asked, we would have agreed and set limits around this game," her father continued. "But the problem is you didn't ask and got yourself into some sorry state!"
"So be it, co-leads of the villain league!" Jarius retorted. He pushed his logger and held her in a chokehold. The knocking sound was audible from Mindy's room.

Mindy heard the knock. It was no time to
mope around about some changing relationship.
Knowing she had to do something, Mindy left her room, having no regard to her parents' instructions.

Storming into the living room, Mindy walked right up to the chokehold and forced it open. The tension was broken — shortly.
"Thank you for that, Mindy. You saved me," Mrs Tan reassured, before turning her attention back to Jarius. "As for you..." Knowing it was only getting worse, Mindy stayed behind, making sure she could intervene if she had to.
The scolding turned into a fight, with each statement worse than the previous. Soon, the fight involved cursing, physical threats and involvement of the middle finger.
The anti-climax soon came, after Jarius punched Mrs Tan's eyes. Mrs Tan winced in pain and fell in Mr Tan's hands. "Jarius! That is not the behaviour of a gentleman!" Mr Gan screamed.
"So be it!" As Jarius attempted to push his dad, Mindy blocked him from doing so.
And before it could be done, a loud thud could be heard.
Mr Tan got a heart attack.
While Mindy applied CPR, Mrs Tan called the ambulance, Jarius stood on the spot dumbfounded.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE LOST? YOU CAUSED OUR DAD'S HEART ATTACK!" Mindy screamed hysterically.
