As soon as they walked through the loop entrance, Ethel was greeted with the sunny and warm weather of Saint Swithin's Day of 1867, the day the loop had been created.

They were still in the forest. But now it wasn't cold or raining, it was lovely quiet and had a light presence. It was nice.

Ethel and Miss Bunting began walking again. Now that the weather was far better, it was easier to follow the path that led out of the forest. Therefore it took only half the time they had needed to get to the loop entrance in order to get out.

Ethel was quiet the whole time. What she had just done... it was time travel. Real time travel. A few months ago she would have called herself nutters to actually believe into such a thing, but now? She felt the differnce. The weather couldn't change that quick. The atmosphere couldn't change that quick. It was like Ethel travelled into a whole different world. Into a parallel universe.

Soon Ethel and Miss Bunting were out of the forest. It was even warmer now that the trees of the forest weren't spending any shadow anymore, but the warmth felt nice -- just like everything right now.

After a little of a walk they came into a small village. The sun had dried the most of their soaked appearance, but they were still wet from the rain. Since it apparently hadn't rained quite in a while now, Ethel and Miss Bunting stood rather out of the mass of people living in the village. The looks they gave them gave it all away.

But it didn't matter. This was only a loop what meant that all of those people wouldn't remember her tomorrow since the day was resetted. Or so Ethel figured because Miss Bunting had explained it during their way out of the forest.

"You can see the Academy from here now", Miss Bunting said just as they turned around another corner. It was true. As Ethel looked up she saw a huge castle. That must be the academy. Her new home.

"Actually it is called the 'Academy of Ymbrynes and Peculiar Children in Training', AYPCT for short, but most of the time it is mainly referred to as the Academy.", Miss Bunting explained.

They had reached the end of the village by now and were met with massive gates. Engraved in the centre of them was AYPCT.

"And here we are. Welcome to peculiardom, Miss Ethel Barrinson."

Ethel was speechless. This was more than anything she had thought of. This was a dream come true. In that moment Ethel knew that the time here, her life here, was going to be perfect.

She looked at Miss Bunting, unable to speak. But Miss Bunting looked at her. And she understood. She understood because once she too had been a girl who was lost and found a new home in peculiardom.
