Just as Yoongi had expected, George had brought along something harmful: a Nerf dart blaster.
George took it up to the front of the class, beside his disappointed teacher, and held it up for the class to see. "I stole this from my brother! It's a new Nerf dart blaster!" He proclaimed triumphantly as all the kids 'woahed' and 'wowed' at the small weapon in his hands.
Yoongi attempted to reach out and disarm him of the weapon. "That's great. Now put it back in the bag." He ordered. The boy shook his head defiantly as he kept waving it around for the children.
Yoongi gritted his teeth together. "George," He said lowly, "Put the dart blaster away." Who knew what the child was capable with that thing in his hands?
Instead of listening, George simply shook his head with a mischievous grin. Yoongi huffed as he reached out to grab the blaster off the boy. The boy dodged his hand, walking backwards to stay out of his reach. The other children watched intently between the two as Yoongi scowled and rose from his seat to snatch the toy off the child, which sent George running away.
I don't get paid enough for this shit. Yoongi groaned to himself as he pathetically chased after the boy, feeling tired within a few minutes of the cat and mouse game. "George, stop running around and put the gun away before you hurt someone!" Yoongi snapped as he stopped, leaning down with his hands unto his knees to pant out his frustrated breaths.
Yoongi wished he could send Jungkook after the kid as the younger had a lot more energy, but as usual he was sitting in the corner, whimpering to himself. Hey George, want to try your blaster out? Yoongi thought of asking. He couldn't say that, however, as it would be too 'immature'. Of course, he had to be the only adult.
"George, come on, stop running." Yoongi panted as he forced himself to continue chasing the child, who giggled evilly as he ran. "No!" The little boy snickered, screaming when Yoongi nearly caught up to him. He ran faster around the group of children before quickly climbing unto the table beside them.
When Yoongi attempted to coax him down, the boy pointed his dart blaster at him. There was no mistaking the wide grin the boy wore. Yoongi knew exactly what was going happen.
"Do you want to see what my blaster does?" The boy called out to the group of children, who cheered him on. Yoongi felt betrayed; he stepped back from the table and prepared for the foam darts to fly towards his face. It was almost as if time was in slow motion as the boy looked back towards Yoongi, his grin slowly creeping up wider as his finger slid to the trigger.
Yoongi's hands quickly went up to shield his face, but it was too late. One bullet had already hit his eyeball, causing him to yelp out in pain as he tripped over backwards. That wasn't the end of the shooting, however, no. George had no mercy, even going as far as getting off the table and standing beside Yoongi's fallen body so his aim would be more precise.
