"What are we doing here, hyung?" Jungkook asked as both the men got off of the bus. Saturday had rolled around and as it was one of their days off, the men were finally free from the grasps of the small little gremlins. Without telling Jungkook what he was planning on doing, Yoongi had abruptly forced Jungkook to come with him on the bus they usually took to work, except this time, they didn't get off at their usual stop.
After a little walking with the silent Yoongi, Jungkook had realised that for some reason, Yoongi had brought him to the beach. As soon as he saw the crisp beige colour of the sand, the endless blue of ocean, and smelt the salty water, he was ecstatic. "Hyung! You should have told me we were coming here! I would have brought my bucket and spade!"
Yoongi tried to ignore the man child as he continued on his rant about how you couldn't possibly visit the beach without making a sand castle and that, in order to make one you needed a bucket and spade. Obviously Jungkook had assumed they were going to the beach to play. No, Yoongi was coming to the beach for a rust free and complimentary shower, using the cheap soap he had bought in his pocket.
That was it.
Then he had groceries to do, and the landlord to call. He didn't have time to play at the beach. He was an adult, and in the desirable reality where the world made sense, Jungkook should have been one too, but Jungkook was not.
"Oh my gosh! That guy is so hot, Lila! Go ask him out!" Yoongi overheard as he walked past a group of bikini clad beach goers. "The pink haired one?" One of the girls answered, and Yoongi was sure she was pointing in his direction.
The other girl screeched. "No! Eww! The brunette guy! The pink haired one looks like a depressed rat!"
Now that's just mean.
It wasn't too soon before one of the girls, a rather attractive raven haired girl, approached Jungkook, swaying her hips and batting her eyelashes as if he actually had the maturity to read the signals she was giving. "Hey hottie. Whatchya say you join me for a while?" She purred, placing a finger on his chest, and slowly sliding it down. Jungkook didn't even flinch; he just smiled as if she was giving him a handshake. "Oh, I'm not very hot right now. My clothes are actually keeping me cool." He told her, a child-like brightness on his face.
Of course, because the girl was in Yoongi's way, he couldn't move and so had to listen to all the bullshit she spouted. He'd admit it was slightly entertaining to see this girl try to flirt with his immature cousin. No doubt she'd soon be turned off when she realised that Jungkook didn't understand any of the shit she was saying.
As Yoongi had expected, the girl looked a little surprised by Jungkook's response at first, but she soon began giggling. "Sure you are, handsome. But I could do something to you that would make you heat up real fast." Yoongi cringed in disgust, but Jungkook didn't seem to be bothered. "No thanks," He dismissed her, pointing towards the sky, "The sun already does that for me, and I don't like heat very much."
