"You heard me pipsqueak. What the fuck you doin here." The man walked right up to the bar in front of the sink glaring me down.

Before I could blink Kunai was beside me and shoved me behind himself. He formed a large knife in his right hand ready to protect me if the situation called for it. Auntie had jumped over the counter and was glaring the man down.

She looks ready to kill. I've never seen her like this.

"Jason you'd do well to remember what happened the last time you caused trouble in my bar. Don't make me throw you out again." She grabbed his shoulder and shoved him several feet back. The man stumbled caught off guard.

Okay either she's stronger than she looks or he's more intoxicated than he looks.

The group that was sitting at the man's table stand up behind him ready to back him up.

"You runnin an orphanage now Kenna? This ain't no place for a kid." He took a step towards her, but she didn't back down.

"What I do on my property is none of your fucking business so why don't you and your buddies back off and sit the fuck down before I make you." She activated her quirk. I always thought her quirk was so pretty but the men must have found it terrifying because they looked like they'd seen a ghost.

"You know what fuck you and this place. I hope it burns the ground again." He tried to sound threatening but his face was as pale as a ghost. If you looked real close you could see him shaking.

I guess she really did a number on him last time if that's his reaction.

The men turned around and walked out the door. Once it closed the tension left Kunai's and auntie's bodies. He dissolved his weapon and spun around to face me.

"You good kid?" I nodded my head. "Good! Wouldn't want my newly adopted brother to shit his pants on the first day." He slapped my back and gave me a thumbs up. Then turned his attention back to my aunt.

They nodded to each other and Kunai materialized a gavel to bang on the bar three times.

"Listen up! Since Jason decided to make a ruckus about this let me make it clear. That's my nephew. He'll be around here a lot from now on. If any of you start causing him trouble I've got no problem showing you the door, and I'm not gonna be polite about it." She activated her quirk again to get the message across and stared down every patron there.

A chorus of yes ma'ams, nods and other affirmations rang through the bar.

"Fantastic, now next round is on the house guys and gals! Sorry for the disturbance." Her voice went from threatening to cheerful in a heartbeat. She made her way back to us and hopped back over the counter.

"Sorry you had to see that bud. You good?" She gave me her classic million dollar smile.

"Yah, I'm fine. That was some show you put on auntie." I smiled back. "I don't know if it's smart to threaten your customers."

"Well I can't have them thinking they can mess with you now can I?" She pinched my cheek and went back to her station.

"I gotta say most kids would be shaking after that. If you need to go sit in the back for a while it's fine. Me and Kenna got it covered up here." Kunai looked down at me with a raised brow. His eyes showed a mix of concern and pride.

"Nah, I'm fine. I know you and aunt Kenna have my back. Besides after that display I don't think anyone is dumb enough to try anything." I gave him a smile and went back to washing cups.

"You have a point. I've known your aunt for years and she still scares the shit outta me. That woman is a walking nuke." He shivers and crosses his arms. "Do me a favor, if I ever summon up the balls to go toe to toe with her knock some sense into me will ya?" He turns to walk back to his station.
