Kyojuro POV:

I didn't pressure myself and finish this mission right away. Since she was chained up to the wooden pillar and locked in the basement, I didn't rush myself.

I'm on my way home right now, still choosing to take my time.

Once I arrive home, I go straight to the kitchen to get some food and water to take down to Y/N.

When I grab a plate and some food, I walk to the basement door to unlock it.

It's already unlocked...

Once I realize the doors unlocked, I throw the plate of food everywhere and run downstairs. I then see...

Once again...

She's gone.

Y/N POV:

"Live with you?" I ask.

He nods while smiling.

"I can't. I can't risk him coming here and putting you and the girls in danger! Now that you retired and you have your injuries, he's stronger than you and can hurt you! And you know it too..."

He sighs, sadly. I can tell he's a little guilty for not being able to help me...

"Listen, I don't know want to ask, but one way you could help me is staying here, for just tonight."

He nods again then speaks up,

"Yeah, of course. But let's take care of those injuries first."

"Thank you." I thank him.

"Don't thank me. Girls!" He shouts.

I look behind me to see Hina, Makio, and Suma.

"Yes Lord Ten-" Hina started talking but was cut off by Suma.

"Y/N!" Suma yells and runs over and hugs me tightly.

Then the rest of them run over and hug me.

"Hey you guys! How are you?" I ask.

They all gasp.

"Y/N! Why are you asking about us?! We need to fix you up!" Makio says worriedly.

Then Hina grabs my arm gently and pulls me to the bathroom. They all help me clean up and clean my wounds.

Then Hina speaks up.

"Y/N..."

"Yes?"

"How did you get here? How did you get these wounds?" She asks, concerned.

"Yeah! How did you get them!" Suma starts crying.

"Oh, don't cry. I'm fine! I just... It..." I then sigh, not wanting to talk about it. "It's just hard to explain..." I don't want to talk about it, but they should know since they're helping me.

I look up at Hina, she smiles softly at me. "It's okay, Y/N, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want too." I give her a smile back, nodding in appreciation.

"Could you at least tell us who did this?!" Makio adds.

I stay quiet for a minute. But they're gonna know soon anyways.

"Kyojuro..."

Kyojuro POV:

How the fuck did she even escape?! They were chains! And the basement was locked! I just don't understand why she won't listen.

Of course I'm searching for her again. I know she's at Uzui's. It's not gonna take me long to get there.

I guess she enjoys getting beat. 'Cause she's sure gonna get a lot of them when I get her back...

Y/N POV:

They all stare at me with shocked faces.

Finally, one of them speak up.

"Rengoku did this?" Makio asks.

I nod, with tears starting to form in my eyes. Makio and Suma start fighting with eachother.

"Oh no! Look what you did Makio! Your making her cry!" Suma says while starting to cry herself.

"I didn't mean to you baby!" Makio adds.

"Both of you stop. We can all tell Y/N doesn't want to talk about this." Hina comforts me.

They then finish helping me with my wounds.

Uzui POV:

I sit by the fire, waiting for the girls to be finished helping Y/N with her wounds.

I just can't believe Rengoku would do this to her. He would never hurt a human... I guess we were wrong...

I have to report this to Master Kagaya Ubuyashiki... Y/N needs safety... I can't let her go-

Then my thoughts were cut off by a knock a the front door.

I know exactly who it is...

Kyojuro POV:

As I walk up to Uzui's estate, I just know she's in there, but he's not gonna tell me or let me in.

I walk up to the door, put my usual cheery smile on, and knock on the door.

I don't hear an answer, so I knock again. Then I hear a muffled,

"Who is it?" From Uzui.

I cough lightly, clearing my throat, "It's your friend Kyojuro!" I say, trying to not act suspicious.

There's a hesitant pause, then the door opens.

"Ahh... Rengoku. Is there something you need?" He asks, stupidly, dumb.

All I have to say is, "Hey! Don't play dumb with me! I know you have my wife! Give her back so I can beat the hell out of her!" Right? I have to act normal because since he knows what happened, he can report this to Master Kagaya and I can go to jail.

"My wife... She told me earlier she was going to visit you while I was on a mission... I've been home from my mission for a while and she hasn't come home. Is she here?"

He pauses for a second, putting his hand on his chin. "Thinking"

"Nope, she left hours ago."

Bitch...

I know she's here...

"Alright then! Before I go to the village, do you think I could use one of your restrooms?" I need to get in there to look for her.

"Ah, sorry man. My wives are in all the bathrooms washing themselves. Sorry." Ughh.

Maybe she did leave... I know she wouldn't want to put him in any danger... They both know I can defeat him.

What am I thinking?! Of course she's here! He's just protecting her!

I grit my teeth while smiling, "Alrighty then! I'll just go at the village. Thanks anyways!" I say while starting to walk away.

I look back at him, he's grinning while nodding.

What a dick.

"Oh! And if you happen to see her, could you send me a message?" I ask, knowing he won't.

"Sure thing man. Safe travels."

It took me all of my energy to stay calm and not beat the living shit out of him.

I will find a way to get her from him...
