Gun firing distracted the group of people from their radio. "Oh no, is that Dixon?", the blond, Andrea, said. And then they all ran to the staircase to get to the roof but Noa stayed there. Dixon? She then joined the other a few minutes later.

When she got to the roof Glenn was sat on some stairs and the other were back faced her, looking at the city.

She quickly made her way beside Rick. Since their meeting she didn't liked to be without him. "Hey, everything is okay?", she softly asked him. He seemed tense.

He put his hand on her shoulder and looked down at her. "Yeah, don't worry about me. What took you this long to come up here anyway?" he asked, chuckling.

His hand was trembling, she could feel it on her shoulder but she didn't brought it up tho. She chuckled a bit too, feeling stupid. "That's dumb, I just thought Andre said the name Dixon and-"

"Well I sure am a Dixon sugar tits", someone behind her said. "Is that your girl officer friendly? Not too bad", he whistled.

Rick sighed, exhausted and Noa turned around. No way. "Merle?" Noa asked unsure. Merle's eyes widened. "Shit that's really you!" She hurried to get on her knees and hugged Merle. "I thought you were gone forever", she said crying.

"Did ya miss your o' Merle that much?", he asked laughing while caressing her hair with his hand.

She punched him hard on the shoulder and wiped her tears away. "You're my best friend stupid, of course I missed you" She then looked at his hand. "Why are you handcuffed?" she asked confused and looked at Rick when she noticed Merle looking at him. "Why did you handcuffed him Rick?"

"Kid I didn't know he was your best friend but still he was acting like a dick and he punched T-dog-" Rick was going to explain himself more.

"That's okay Rick, I know he can be hard to be around" She looked at T-dog. "I'm so sorry" She then grabbed a tissue from her backpack and handed it to him. The group was looking at her with big eyes. How could a sweet girl like Noa could be best friend with someone like Merle? She stood up and looked at the group. That's a lot of people, she thought. "I apologie if Merle had caused trouble, I'm sure he'll keep calm from now on" Nobody was convinced. "Right Merle?"

"I ain't gonna be calm-" Noa hit him with her foot. "I'll be an angel" he said smiling innocently.

Noa stayed on the roof with Merle while the group went to the basement. "So... Where's Daryl?" she asked curious, the Dixons were rarely away from one another.

"At the camp, why?" He then waved his eyebrows. "Ya wanna do my baby brother?"

She chuckled, "Oh shut up"

"And your family?" he asked unsure. Noa looked at him sadly and shook her head "Come here", he raised his free arm and she put herself underneath it, letting her head lay on his shoulder. "I'm her now, not livin' ya again" He remained silent for a bit. "Ya know I care for ya right? I haven't left-"

"I know Merle" She took his hand in hers. "I'm not mad at you, not anymore" She straighten herself and looked at him serious "We could have left together Merle. I mean you you knew how it was for me at home-"

"Yeah, an o' man who leaves with a kid without her parents knowing would have been such a good idea" he said sarcastically.

"I'm not a kid-"

The group had returned cutting Noa. Bad news they were still looking for an exit.

"They can smell you?" Rick asked then looked like he had an idea. They all went back into the shop and Rick started taking a lot of gloves.

"If bad ideas were an olympic event, this would take the gold" Glenn said now that everyone understood Rick's plan.

"I totally agree with Glenn" Noa said disgusted.

Noa, Rick and Glenn were now walking with walker's intestines all over them. Rick didn't wanted Noa to come but she made it clear that it was with her or not at all. What if something happened to Rick?

But now with the rain the bad smell started washing up. "Run!", Rick screamed to Glenn digging his axe in a walker's skull. "Noa stay close behind me I'll clear a path" They quickly arrived at the fence and passed through it.

Now in a truck, getting away, Rick explained that they needed a distraction to drew the walkers away. They found a sport car but before getting inside with Glenn, Noa looked at Rick anxious "Rick please, make sure to bring Merle" He nodded at her and they separated.

"WHOO-HOO-HOO" Glenn screamed, speeding up with the car on the highway while Noa was gripped to the seat. "Come on Noa enjoy! YEAH-HOO-HOO" he screamed again.

Noa finally took down her guard and screamed as loud as she could out the window "WHOO-HOO!"
