Noa woke up alone. She got dressed and went to the camp. Rick and Shane were there along few other persons. "Hey, do you guys know where is Daryl?"

"Boy there's got a gang, 30 men. They have heavy artillery and they ain't looking to make friend . They roll through here, our boys are dead. And our women, they're gonna wish they are." Daryl said from behind her. His fist was bloody.

"What did you do?", Carol asked noticing his fist too.

"Had a little chat", he replied, walking away to his tent.

Noa looked at Rick in disapproval and followed Daryl quickly. "Daryl let me see your hands", she said stepping in front of him. He sighed and she took his hands. "God Daryl" She entered the tent and took some water and tissue.

She made him sit down and kneeled in front of him. Noa started cleaning his hands in silence. "I don't want you to approach him, okay?", he said holding Noa's hands. "He's a danger, if he touches you", he didn't finish his sentence and just took her face in his hands, admiring her.

Daryl looked up and scoffed. "The whole point of coming up here is to get away from ya people"

Noa turned around and saw Dale. "Gonna take more than that. Stand with me, try to save the kid's life. Your opinion makes a difference, both of your opinions", Dale said.

Daryl stood up and took his stuff followed by Noa. "Man, ain't nobody looking at me for nothing.", Daryl said.

"Carol is, and I am. Right now. And you obviously have Rick's ear." Daryl didn't listen and just went away. Noa looked at Dale sorry. "And you?", he asked desperately.

"I'm sorry Dale but he's a danger to us. The world has changed so has people. We need to protect each other.", she said and followed Daryl to the woods.

Noa Daryl walked through the woods in silence. They both probably needed it. Then Daryl turned to her. "Still want to learn how to use a crossbow?"

Noa smiled at him, nodding. He indicated her to come beside him with his hand as she did. "See that squirrel over there?" The girl quickly looked in front of them and spotted the animal before nodding to him. Daryl took his crossbow off his back, loaded it and handed it to Noa.

He then stood behind her, like Shane did. But unlike the time with Shane, Noa's heartbeat was increasing by the proximity. He placed his head beside hers and his hands over hers. "Now", he whispered to her. She listened to Daryl and pulled the trigger hitting the squirrel.

She smiled brightly, proud of her and looked to her left at Daryl who was already looking at her smiling too. Her eyes looked up and down multiple times between his eyes and his lips. She looked at his eyes one more time before leaning in and kissing him.

This kiss was hungrier than the others. Daryl's hands found their way to Noa's waist and he deepened the kiss as she let him the full access. They ended their kiss with a small peck, both out of breath. "Want to learn how to peel the skin?", Daryl asked out of nowhere making Noa burst out laughing.

The both of them arrived before the sky got dark and went directly to the house to discuss about Randall with the group. "If people think we should spare him, I wanna know", Rick said to everyone. No one reacted, clearing the point.

"Give him a chance to prove himself", Dale tried to convince the group.

"Put him to work?", Glenn tried to consider it.

"We're not letting him walk around", Rick affirmed.

"I wouldn't feel safe unless he was tied up", Lorie added.
