"Good morning guys. Let's get going. We've got a lot of ground to cover". Noa heard Rick says when she got out of her tent. Daryl didn't woke her up, that made her a bit mad.

She hurried herself and stood beside Rick, in front of a map. "All right, everyone's getting new search grids today. If she made it as far as the farmhouse Daryl found, she might have gone further east than we've been so far."

Noa didn't really bother to listen, her mind was on Daryl. He just didn't woke her up but what if he did it so she wouldn't come with him? She was overthinking as usual. "Can I go with you?", she asked Shane, whispering. He was sat in the passenger sit of the truck. He looked up and smiled before nodding her a yes.

"You think you could teach me how to shoot?", Noa asked Shane, still walking into the woods.

He looked at her a bit surprised. "Why would you want to shoot?"

She stopped and looked at him. "Shane our world is over. If I don't know how to defend myself I will not stay alive a while." He tried to cut her. "Please, I want to do something too not just stay at the camp all day"

Shane sighed. "What does Rick think about that?"

Rick? "Why are you bringing Rick into that? He's not my dad or anything, i'm an adult you know?" Noa was annoyed that Shane saw her as a kid.

"I know I know believe me, I'll let you know when we start okay?", Shane chuckled. His attention went to an tree. "It's blue, let's get back" He patted her back and they started their way to the farm.

Noa entered the RV, she wanted to ask Dale if she could take one of his books. She always loved reading, she had plenty of time to read now. "Oh hey Glenn", she said to her friend.

"Hey, i'm waiting for Dale" He showed up a book. "Returning his book". They smiled at each other, nodding. Since the group arrived the farm Glenn and Noa didn't really talk. "So, Shane or Daryl?", Glenn talked.

"Excuse me?", Noa laugh out of incomprehension. She sat in front of him. "What do you mean by that?"

"Oh come on i'm a man too, I see those things", he laughed too.

"Oh really? And how is it going with Maggie?", she asked back.

But before he could say anything Dale entered the RV. "Hello kids", he said then went to the back.

Glenn seemed embarrassed for a moment then turned to him. "Dale, you think Andrea is on her period?"

Noa brought her palm to her forehead. What the fuck is he saying? "I'm only asking cause it's like all the women are acting really weird"

"Hey!", Noa exclaimed. "I'm not acting weird, you're the weird one here"

Glenn put an hand up in defense "No offense Noa but I read somewhere that when women spend a lot of time together, their cycle line up and they all get super crazy hormonal at the same time."

Noa tried so hard not to laugh. What was going on in his head? "I'm gonna advise you to keep that theory to yourself." Noa raised a thumb up to Dale. "Who else is acting weird?"

"Maggie", Glenn answered making Noa smile. "She started off being mean to me. Then she wanted to have sex with me. And now she's being mean to me again"

"How do you know that Maggie wanted to have sex with you?" Dale asked. Glenn looked at him biting his nails and smiling. "Oh no son, you didn't"

"I'm happy for you Glenn really, but didn't you think about how her father might feel about this?", Noa asked.

He looked at her confused. "She's 22"

"And he's our host.", Dale said joining Noa's point.

"Walker! Walker!", Andrea exclaimed from the roof of the the RV. "I bet I can nail it from here"

Everyone took weapons. "You'd best let us handle this.", Shane told her.

Him, Rick, T-dog and Glenn went to the walker. Once in front of him they stopped. Why did they stop? But before Noa could see clearer Andrea shoot the walker. "No!", Rick screamed multiple times.

"What did you do Andrea?", Noa asked before running to the group. It was Daryl. Daryl received a bullet. "Oh my god"

"Is he dead?", Andrea asked from behind.

"I swear to god Andrea he better not die!", Noa screamed at her. "Can't you listen to what you're told for once?!"

"He's okay, stop with your attitude and calm down!", Andrea talked back.

"Are you kidding me? You shot my friend and I need to calm dawn?! Are you stupid or what?!" Noa started to approach her.

"Hey!" Glenn took Noa's arm. "He's okay. I promise." He know that Noa was just afraid, she just didn't know how to express it. He took her in his arms. Rick stopped before Glenn nodded to him, making him understand to continue their way.

"What would I do if something happened to him?", she cried in her friend's arms. "I already lost Merle, I can't loose him too"

Glenn caressed her back, keeping her calm. "He's a tough guy Noa" He brought his hands to her cheeks to wipe her tears. "Let's go see him"

Noa waited that Rick and Shane got out the room to enter. Daryl was asleep. She took a chair and placed it in front of him. She put his hand in hers. "I'm sorry, I should have come with you Daryl", she sniffed.

"Stop cryin' i'm not dead yet", he said smiling, with his eyes closed. She quickly wiped her tears away. When she looked back at him his eyes were opened. "Wha dja go with Shane thus mornin'?", he seemed genuinely confused.

"It was dumb", she started to cry again. "It's just that since you didn't woke me up I thought you didn't wanted me near you"

"It iz in fact dumb" He tightened his hand around hers. "Stop doubtin' churself" He looked at her intensely. "Stop doubtin' us"

Us. She repeated it in her head. He was finally referring them to a thing.

"I'm sorry-", she stated to apologize again but before she could say anything more he placed a hand on her cheek and shushed her.

"Stop apologizin' woman". His eyes, that never left her eyes, were now looking at her lips. Her beautiful pink lips. He wanted to scream at everyone that they were his. He wanted to shoot it at Shane especially.

He looked back at her quickly, asking for permission. Noa nodded immediately. He was making the first move, finally. His hand on her cheek swiped to the back of her neck bringing her closer. Then their lips collapsed softly. They stepped back just enough to look at each other. His eyes in hers, and her eyes in his. They stayed like that smiling before reconnecting their lips.

It was nothing like their previous kiss. There wasn't anything sexual. The kisses were soft and slow. It was their first kiss beyond the others. It was the most meaningful. The one that would start a real thing, a thoughtful thing. There'll not be any doubts on them again. He's hers and she's his.
