I woke up with a groan as I nursed my neck. My hand was on my neck, and I rubbed it gently. I couldn't believe that I was done with the heaps of books about those who had the same tattoo that Jerome had, and it turned out that they were lycanthropes. I had done a lot of research on the tattoo, and I strongly believe that he was a , and not only that but a rare breed of them, which was said to be extinct two decades ago. I couldn't believe that he was one. I was excited and couldn't help but feel happy to deliver the news to him.

I have read the book, and it all revolves around what lycanthropes are. Lycanthropes are different species of werewolf who are stronger and faster than werewolves. It was said that a low-ranking lycanthrope who is trained can take on an Alpha. The highest rank of lycanthropes can take on six to seven werewolf alphas if trained by a lycanthrope mage. A lycanthrope mage is one who has the ability to control the four elements: fire, ice, earth, and air. A lycanthrope mage can take on as many alphas as he can, but the mage lycanthrope has a weakness that can be their demise.

The mage lycanthrope would die if stabbed with a silver blade laced with wolfsbane and garlic. Mage lycanthropes live for years. The last mage lycanthrope was killed thousands of years ago. The Lycan was killed by one of its subordinates; the subordinate had been trying to find ways to eliminate him, and then, after years of research, the lycanthrope was killed.

I knew that Jerome was a rare species of the lycanthropes, but his rank isn't as high as a mage lycanthrope. His rank is below the high-ranking lycanthropes, but he isn't to be joked with. He can take on at least two alphas at a time if he is skilled, but I doubt that can happen because he was made to believe that he was an omega. Lycanthropes aren't as skilled as people think, but if taught by a mage, they can be far more skilled than their rank.

I knew that with the level of training he might have been taught in his pack, he could still manage to take on a warrior, but I knew if he were taught like warriors, then he would be able to fight Alphas and be stronger than them. I was glad for this, and with that, I started my morning business. I walked out of the bathroom with a towel on my waist. I dried my body and put on my clothes after applying lotion to my body.

I walked out of my room with a huge smile on my face. I walked into his room, and I saw him sit on a chair while writing something. I knew with no doubt that it was a letter, and I knew that he was going to send it to Mabel. I felt my heart ache immediately. I felt jealousy starting to build up in me. I felt my eyes start to get teary. I knew that I might cry out so that he would notice.

I feel like all he has been saying to me is nothing but deceit. I couldn't help but wonder if he was just using me. The book I was holding fell from my hands, and he turned to look in my direction. He wanted to walk toward me, but a glare from me stopped him.

"What's the matter, Erica?" he asked worriedly, and I couldn't help but smile sadly due to the fact that he was like that to me and not only that he made no effort to stop that. He was acting like he wasn't aware of what was wrong with me.

"Stop putting on this innocent face of yours; you are still writing back to Mabel." "I knew that all you have been doing to me is nothing but deceiving me; I knew what you wanted was to find ways to make me believe you, and then you would run off to your fiancee," I said, holding back the tears in my eyes. I wanted to walk out of the room angrily, but what he said made me stop.

"It's not like that; you should read the content first." She knew what was happening and she demanded an explanation," he said, and I stopped on my tracks immediately.

I collected the letter he was writing, and the content I saw surprised me. I couldn't believe that he had said all this in the letter. I felt the need to hug him at that moment. The letter he wrote back to her left me speechless. I had thought that he wasn't interested in me but in my power. I had thought that he would run to his fiance one day.

"I can't believe you can say something like this; you are so sweet, but it isn't proper with the way you broke off the engagement." "You should write it in a way that she would feel emotional about it," I said, and he chuckled.

"It's better to leave it like this because he can do anything whenever she gets emotional, and I won't want that. It's a good thing we aren't close to each other right now, and I doubt if she would be able to eat for a day, but it's for the best," he said, and I stared at him lovingly.

"Let's forget all that is happening at this moment; we should focus on ourselves," I said without knowing when it escaped my mind. I was so excited about the whole thing that all I wanted was to reward him with something. I knew it might sound weird, but what he had written in the letter meant a lot to me.

"I have a gift for you," I said, and he smiled at me.

"Something like what's on the floor," he asked, and I couldn't help but smile.

"No, not that, here is your gift," I said, and with that, I leaned toward him to kiss him.

He was shocked at first, but later he returned the kiss. He was such a good kisser, and I couldn't help but feel sad that I wasn't his first kiss. I knew that his first kiss would be with Mabel.

I broke off the kiss with a contented smile on my face, and with that, I ran off while blushing. My cheeks were red like tomatoes as I blushed heavily.
