EricaI knew that Stephen was up to no good and I knew that he would do everything in his best possible to win the duel, and that was because I have heard him say so before and he has always kept to his words. He isn't someone who goes back on his word and I felt really intimidated by him. I knew that he might do something bad to my mate which I don't want. I pray that whatever is planned for tomorrow will not work as planned. I knew that was the only way out for my mate.
He had come to me after I had found my mate saying he was interested in me and not only that he said he was willing to do anything to make me his. He had once told me that before I found my mate but I kept my hopes high for my mate and it turned out that he is an omega which is not yet to be proved by my theory. I knew if I was to go with the fact of the tattoo then I would say he is someone strong but seeing that he had nothing special makes it hard. It wasn't something I'm proud of to know that my mate is an omega but there is nothing I can do about it.
I knew that the moon goddess didn't make a mistake by pairing the both of us together. I had thought that he wasn't my mate the moment I saw him because he was an omega. I knew that if I was to go by his structure or any other thing then I would believe that he is a high ranked werewolf. I knew that anybody who sees him for the first time would mistake him for a high ranked werewolf. If it wasn't for his scent then no one would be able to notice that.
"Erica, you have been so quiet after Stephen left. What's bothering you?" asked Jerome and I turned to look at him with a fake smile on my face.
"I was thinking of what I would do to you in the training center" I said with a playful look on my face. I knew that there was no way he would be able to beat me in the training center but I wished he could do that because there is no way this can happen without his Lycan power. I knew that if he was able to beat me then he would be able to fight off the Alpha's tomorrow but I doubt if that would be possible.
"I won't take it lightly with you," he said immediately as we entered the training center before we headed toward my private training ground.
"I won't also, and don't you dare try to withdraw in the fight. You can't take it lightly with me, you should imagine me to be one of your competitors tomorrow" I said and he chuckled lightly before facing me with a straight look on his face.
"Let's get this started," I muttered and she stared at me for a while before charging toward me with a straight face.
I ducked sideways escaping his punch and he wanted to kick him but I moved backward lightly before grabbing his knee. I twisted his leg angrily not knowing why he isn't attacking me. I figured out that he isn't willing to fight me but I'm not ready to let that happen. I knew that this might also happen tomorrow. What if someone he knows was made to fight him will he withdraw from fighting. I couldn't help but feel nervous. I knew that I had to set things straight with him so as not to misbehave tomorrow.
I twisted his leg hoping that I would be able to make him feel pain but instead he punched my stomach with his other free leg to roll his body in rhythm with the leg I held in my hands. He uses his other leg to kick me backwards, and I let his leg go. I was glad that he was able to do this. I knew that this is something good. He had improved drastically and I knew that if he was to be on the field fighting then he would be able to fight them off.
It was dark already and the only light that was illuminating the room was that of the small lamp that was placed in the corners of the room. The light was so bright that it didn't look dark outside.
He stared at me with a satisfactory smile on his face and I couldn't help but feel bad that he would get hurt if he was going to act like this on the field. I dashed toward him with a fake punch which he fell for, and as he held my hands I punched him with my other free hand. I hit him hard in his stomach and he flew backward hitting his back on the punching bag. He fell down and with anger in his eyes. I knew for a fact that he was angry and would charge blindly at me.
I knew that things won't be good if he was to be ruled by his anger. He dashed toward me doing a sweeping kick which I dodged by leaping up lightly. I landed a kick to his cheek, and he stared at me with a surprised look on his face. He charged at me but this time with a calculated step. I knew that he was going to do something that might hurt me, and I knew that he was taught by my father.
I knew that there are many skills and tricks that my father can do. I knew that he might have been taught by my dad a few of the tricks but I knew what to do if anything was to happen. He wanted to punch my face but I bent low escaping it. I could feel his attacks were weak and I knew that there was no way he could take down an alpha. I wasn't happy with the face but I was not going to do anything until he made his move.
He grabbed my body and he threw it toward the wall. I have seen it coming and with that I stylishly use my leg to touch the wall to make sure when I fall I won't fall that hard. I landed on the floor groaning in fake pain, and I looked toward his direction to see he had let his guard down. He seemed to be moved by what was happening. He walked toward me with a concerned look on his face, and I couldn't help but feel bad that he would get hurt tomorrow. He would be hurt and there is no way I would be able to do anything to save him.
He would be blinded by his emotions and affections.
"Are you alright?" he asked caringly as he stared at me with concern and before he could see it coming I punched his face so hard and he fell to the ground. I walked toward him and I helped him sit up with anger, I couldn't believe he would go down this easily. I was filled with anger not knowing what to do. I don't know if he would be able to win the duel with his performance.
"You are weak and a blind by your emotions, you shouldn't let your guard down because anything might happen at any time, you shouldn't let your opponent get to you" I said with a pause while staring at him.
"You can't charge at me blindly, you should know that," I said angrily and with that I walked out of the training center.
