  Mabel

I wasn't expecting Erica to know about me being the one so soon, but I was expecting this. I knew sooner or later I would be caught by her, but I wasn't expecting it to be this soon. I could hear the sound of a horse approaching from a distance, and I knew that there was no way to escape anymore. I felt adrenaline pumping through my veins, so I increased my speed.

I ran through the thick bush with fear evident in my eyes. I ducked down under a branch of a tree with great speed that I didn't know I possessed. My eyes were filled with tears, and I was sweating. I knew that there was no way I would be able to escape from Erica and her cohorts. I knew this would be the end of me, but I was glad that Jerome would be coming with me.

I will not bat an eye at him after meeting him in the afterlife. He made me do all this, and now his mate is after me. What was I even expecting? I have made a great mistake by poisoning him, but I am glad for that. I will make sure I pay him back tenfold for what he has done to me, and now I'm content that I was able to make that come true.

I knew that there was no way I would be able to escape from Erica, and I don't have a chance to outrun her in human form. I decided to drop my bag and shift into my wolf form, not caring about it. I knew that there was no way I would be able to go back to my pack since Erica knew I was behind everything, and there was no way the alpha of my pack would allow me back into the pack after learning of what I had done.

I knew that hurting Jerome had warranted Erica's anger, but I don't care; all I want is revenge, and I have finally gotten it. I knew for sure that there was no way the poison would have been extracted from his veins. I knew that I would be caught up with, but I won't give it to you easily. I won't give Erica the chance to bully me again. Not anymore; she bullied me with her position as an alpha, and she used that as a leverage to get Jerome in her clutches, but I have gotten him back and he belongs to me again. Jerome's life belongs to me, and I have decided to take it, and I won't let her have a slight chance of victory.

I ran through the bush as fast as I could while dodging trees at intervals, taking turns not knowing where I was headed. I haven't been confused in my entire life like I am now. I knew that this would catch up with me, but I don't expect it to be soon. I knew that I would die if I got caught by Erica, but I still went on with the plan.

I knew that I was feeling confident about the whole thing before, but now I feel scared. I feel scared that I might lose my life. I feel scared that things will go differently from what I have always wished for. I knew it wouldn't be easy to get things back to the way they were before. There is no way I can undo things.

Soon I ran to a dead end, and I couldn't help but sigh heavily seeing the cliff in front of me. My body went cold instantly. I took a peek over the cliff. I couldn't help but sigh sadly knowing that I have been caught up with. I knew that things would be disastrous.

I could hear the sound of the horse getting closer, and I closed my eyes, waiting for the next thing to happen. My eyes were closed as I waited for what would happen next.

"You have nowhere to run now, Mabel. "Shift" I heard Erica say in a cold voice, with dangerous auras emitting from her body, adding to her demeanor.

"You have made a grave mistake by trying to kill Jerome; you will be killed just like the law of treason," I heard her say, and I felt a cold shiver run down my spine imagining the scenario. I tried hard to mask the fear I have, and I chuckled with a satisfied smile on my face.

"That doesn't scare me; I know that you are going to do that." "I knew what the law of treason is, and that's death by hanging, but I'm not phased by that," I muttered with a strong look on my face.

"I'm glad it doesn't," "Go get her, tie her to the rope, and give me the end of the rope," she said, and I stared at her with a shocked look on my face.

I wasn't expecting this from her, and I knew what she was trying to do. She was going to have to be tied to a rope, and then she would ride on the horse; she would drag me back all the way to her pack. My blood went cold at the thought of what she was about to do. My eyes were filled with unshed tears, but I managed to bottle it all in.

Jerome caused everything from the start; he shouldn't have fallen in love with her at the beginning. All this could have been avoided. He wouldn't have been wanted dead, but now he is going to die. He was wanted dead by the head of the werewolf council.

I knew that Erica would want to torture me into telling her who sent me, but I have made up my mind to keep my mouth shut. I won't give her any chance to know about the person who wanted Jerome dead. I have a feeling that Jerome is not dead, but I plan on finding that out. I will find out that soon.
