Third Person POV
Cloth. Flesh. Blood.
That's all Sacrosanct members are taught outsiders are. That is all they'll ever be.
"Vampires are the superior species." Seonghwa, leader of the clan said over dinner. They sat at a long and narrow dark wood table in the dimly lit dining hall. There were golden gem covered mugs with white and gold fine china plates and cutlery to match. It was clear that the Sacrosanct clan were rich even by glancing at the vampires themselves. They dressed to impress and took care of their appearances. The vampires laughed over Seonghwa's statement. "Flesh and blood is all they'll ever be." San chimed in, receiving a nod of approval from his senior. Chatter continued after that. San spoke to his best friend over dinner, Yunho. They talked about rumours and drama happening inside the clan as that was all they could talk about while everyone else was within earshot. After dinner, Seonghwa in his all black attire stood up and signalled that everyone was free to leave. Everyone bowed to their leader before calmly leaving to their respected areas. "San, come to my room, let's relax." San nodded. That statement was merely an invite to everyone else around them but for San? Code word. What he really heard was "Let's discuss our escape."
Sacrosanct wasn't the heaven everyone thought it was, in fact, it was more like hell on Earth. A cult. Seonghwa had managed to brainwash everyone into believing that outside their land was nothing. Everyone was a blood thirsty monster with no thought. Only the selected few 'hunters' were allowed to leave to gather more materials and food for everyone else. It was clear San and Yunho never fell for Seonghwa's tricks. Why? They couldn't explain that either. Something didn't sit right with the two young vampires. They entered Yunho's room. It was spacious with a king sized bed. The bedding was black silk and the wood was so dark, it almost looked black and blended well with the bedding. San shut and locked the door, using their self crafted insulation to seal the gaps from the door, making the room almost sound proof. "How do we even plan an escape from Sacrosanct?" Yunho sighed as he flopped onto the bed, landing on his back and covering his face with his hands. The silk creased under his weight and only creased more when San sat down next to him. "We need to learn the guards' schedules. Where they patrol and what time. We need to find a blind spot." San mumbled, just loud enough to be heard by his companion. "Two blind spots. We need to be able to come back without being noticed, either." Yunho added. The two boys sat in silence for awhile, thinking. How does one escape a castle that was made to hold them captive?
"That's it!" Yunho shouted in a whisper, startling San who's head snapped toward the taller male. "What?" His eyebrow raised, curiosity filling him. "The dungeons. They aren't patrolled during sunlight hours." Yunho smirked, his little plan coming together in his head but San rolled his eyes. "They aren't patrolled in sunlight because of the cracks in the walls, Yunho. We'll burn if we do that." He explained but Yunho shook his head in disagreement. "That's what Seonghwa wants you to think." He started, standing up and stretching. "You know we've questioned every little thing our 'leader' has said to us. I questioned the likelihood of burning alive in the sun. Nothing happens. It was just another lie." He shrugged casually. San's eyes widened. "You're telling me, this whole time, I've been avoiding the sun like the humans avoid the plague for absolutely no reason." He groaned in annoyance as Yunho just laughed. "What happened to questioning everything Seonghwa said?" He giggled, earning a kick to the shin from a now annoyed San. "Well.. My plan will work if you want to do it." The taller male sat back down next to his friend. San turned to him. He looked into the dead eyes of his friend and wiped some strands of his black hair of his face for him. "We only get one chance, Yunho. If we fuck this up. We're dead- for real." He smiled. "It's worth the risk." Yunho then messed up San's well put together hair as revenge for slightly messing up his own.
"I'll see you at sunrise. Meet me here and we'll get ready to leave." San nodded, standing up to leave. "And San?" San's hand rested on the door knob as he turned his head to face Yunho who was sitting up straight with a smirk on his face. "Try not to die, would be pretty boring living with all these brain dead zombies." He joked, trying to lighten the mood a little. San nodded, "If anyone were to die, it would be your dumb ass." He winked before exiting so Yunho couldn't retort the statement.

Hello~ Sorry if this first chapter was a little too serious. I promise it will liven up a little. This was just to show the environment the two boys are stuck in and want out of.
Sacrosanct is basically a rich hellhole. Everyone does what Seonghwa says or face death as punishment because in their world, Seonghwa is their God.
