The Warmth within a cold heart

Chapter 8

"It's fine we were just leaving, right Father?" Peter said while looking Fury straight in the eyes. "He's right." Jarvis says. Before leaving he looks Natasha in the eyes and they leave. At school Peter ignores Harley and his group.

Peter is walking to lunch when he is slammed against the wall. "Why are you ignoring me?!" Harley yelled at him. Peter pushes him off and brushes his clothes off. "Is it because of Fury?" He asked with a confused sad tone. Peter doesn't awnser. "You know I have tried really really hard to be your friend, I would try and tell everyone your not a serial killer youre just misunderstood!" He yelled."I didn't tell you to do that." Peter says cold.
"You didn't have too, because that's what people who love you do!" Harley yells with tears in his eyes. "Of you want to be alone BE ALONE." Harley storms off leaving Peter in shock.

Peter felt water running down his face so he ran out of school. He ran home, meeting Jarvis decorating the floor they live on.

"Peter, what's wrong" Jarvis puts down what he was doing. Peter trys explain but he keeps crying so he just hugs Jarvis. "Oh, Peter it's not your fault." Jarvis hugs him. "But it is! Due to my fucking stupidity I lost my only friends!" Peter cries on Jarvis's shoulder. "I'm supposed to be a fucking Powerful agent." Jarvis just hugs Peter until he gets a message. "I've received a message from Tony Stark would you like me to read it?" Peter looks up and dries his face a bit. "Sure father"

"He has invited us to dinner to talk about what happened at school today." Jarvis tell him."Do you want to go Pete?" Peter nods his head yes. "We need to get ready then." Peter stands up and walks off to his corner of the room and he grabs a tank top and he walks to Jarvis who is by the door.

When they make it to the tower Tony and Harley are there. "Thank you for meeting us Mr.Parker and Peter" Tony says walking them to the elevator. Peter ignores Harley for the most part until they make it to the main floor.

Stephen, Steve, bucky and the twins are the only ones there at the moment since the rest are on a different mission.

Steve is making dinner in the kitchen and Stephen and bucky are on the couch with the twins that's are playing video games.

"I'm happy we can talk about the fight at school and they can get past it" Tony says to Jarvis. "Indeed." They all sit on the couch where everyone else is. "I heard from Harley that Peter has been ignoring him, Why is that?" Stephen said to Peter, he shurgs. "Is is because of Fury?" Peter freezes at that, and Stephen sees that. "So it's because of Fury. But it wasn't his fault Fury came over and pulled that stunt." Stephen hugs Harley."He's just being difficult." Harley says to his father. "He's not difficult, he has a problem with expressing emotions, and blowing up at him isn't gonna make it better." Jarvis crosses his arms.

  "Has he seen a doctor or therapist?" Tony asked."No, and he won't." Jarvis says and Tony backs off that question." We were hoping they could say sorry and make up." Stephen smiled."Why should I apologize? Ive done nothing wrong."  Peter states. "You ignored me for something I didn't do! Why shouldn't you apologize!" Harley yells to him.
"Not my problem." Jarvis elbows Peter."Apologize." Peter looks at him like he is crazy. "Fine. I apologize." Peter says to Harley. Harley smiles "I accept and Im sorry for yelling at you" Peter nods his head. "See wasn't that easy?" Stephen said.

    "Would anyone want to stay for dinner?" Steve asked them. "We would love to." Jarvis smiles. "would he actually eat this time?" Wanda says and everyone looks at her. "I've bought stuff for cold dishes for him, so I hope he would." Steve says walking back to the kitchen. Harley grabs Peters wrist and drags his away while their parents talk.
