The Warmth within a cold heart

Chapter 10

After Jarvis and Peter left the avengers go to the meeting room. They make it there on time, even Tony did because of Stephen.

"Avengers, has anyone made any progress on finding the snow spider?!" Fury says pacing around the front of the room. Everyone stays silent. "You have been wasting time on dinners with your new 'friends' and not have been hunting it down!" Fury states."We don't have much to go on besides he is in New York. The video was distorted so we can get a face and you expect us to find someone that we have 0 trace of in under a month." Tony crosses his arms.

"Youre absolutely right Stark. You have two months." Fury walks out the meeting room. "Well this sucks. How do even find the guy?" Clint looks at all of them. "We could check around abandoned HYDRA bases, he could live near there." Bucky suggests."We should start searching now, Everyone suit up" Steve walks out the room with bucky.

And so everyone is suited up and they get on the Quinjet. They make it to some of the bases and they start to look around. Bucky and loki go in a duo until they see a abandoned building with the 4th floor light on. "That's not suspicious at all." Loki jokes."Not at all" Bucky says walking toward the building. They walk up the stares with their guns and knives out.

They make it to the 4th floor door and they cautiously open the door. And they see Peter and Jarvis eating dinner. "Peter?." Bucky says lowering his gun. Loki finally realizes who Peter is and mentally face palms himself. "I should've put the pieces together better" Loki says to Peter. Bucky looks so confused "What?" Loki looks at Peter and seeing if he can tell bucky and Peter nods "Bucky this is" Loki walks over to Peter "The Snow spider." Loki smile and Peter waves. "Wow, that's why you looked so sad when Nat through you under the bus for not getting a background check." Peter rolls his eyes at that but it was not intended to be rude.

"Well surprise, will you keep the secret?" Peter looks at bucky. "Definitely, not my secert to tell but how did Loki find out?" Bucky looks at loki. "Cause when we were fighting HYDRA agents he used magic and the same move to kill the guards as he did in the video which I should have noticed" Loki says elbowibg Peter in the arm. "It's affective." Peter elbows loki back. "I still can't believe, well no I can believe you could do that, HYDRA experimented on you so-" Bucky stops mid sentence due to his phone ringing. He answers it "Bucky have you and loki find anything?" Steve asked."Nope nothing at all we are returning now" Peter smiles a bit at what Bucky says. "We have to go before people get suspicious, we will visit soon Peter" Bucky says walking out. "Bye Peter and Jarvis." Loki also leaves.

They make it back to the jet and meet with the team. "So we found nothing, great." Sam says."We can try again tomorrow. I need to make more particles" Scott says while he eats some food. "Scott is right we can try again tomorrow and hopefully be successful in a different area." Steve says. Everyone sits in silence, some sleeping other eating or on their phones.
