It was a chilled morning in the mountain valleys of Manali. The sun shining and adventure shouting at us to come out of the den. But here I'm cocooned in bed and sipping on my masala chai while listening to a bunch of idiots.
We were all in my hotel room discussing what should we do today and not reaching on a conclusion.
"Let's go for a bike ride." Ahmad Bhaijaan suggested. His adventurous self liking the idea.
"We traveled such a long distance from Delhi to Manali and you want us to travel again. No thanks." Aleema said cutting short his excited smile.
"Why don't we go and enjoy waterfalls?" The naturist Abbas Bhaijaan said but the idea was ditched by me.
"Why don't we just roam around and shop?" I voiced out biting my lips with an innocent look in an attempt to convince them and before anyone could protest Ayaan Bhaijaan growled shaking my poor heart.
"Enough of your bakwaas. Get ready in 15 minutes and meet me in the hotel lobby. And don't be-" I cut off his angry toned rant.
"Just 15 minutes to get ready?" The question was out before I could even realize with a frown etched on my face. But then looking at his dark eyes which were ready to pierce through my body thought of it to be a blunder.
"30 minutes. But not another second. And don't be late." He finished giving all of us a warning glare and then storming off the room.
I heaved a sigh and muttered under my breath "khadoos maan gya?"
Looking around I saw everyone giving an ajeeb look to me. Clearing my throat I said in a sweet voice "Now get out of my room and start getting ready if you don't want the devil to wake up."
They all scurried off afraid of Ayaan Bhaijaan's anger and then I started to get ready with a hot shower.
I chose a nude furry top to pair up with white t-shirt. And beige colored pants and white sneakers to match my outfit. Wearing them with minimal accessories and make up I was all ready to go.
Taking a bag I put all the necessities in it and head out to the hotel lobby after making sure that the room is locked. I check my phone to realize I'm already 5 minutes late. 'Ya Allah bacha lena khadoos Bhaijaan se'.
After reaching there I was met with Ayaan Bhaijaan's cold face and everyone was giving me that ab-toh-ye-gyi look. I can hear that classic 'dhum tana na' background music of Indian TV serials but then he started walking after muttering a "Let's go" and leaving us dumbfounded.
The lion didn't growl !?
