.Double Date.

Rory and Lane are talking about some new CD's they got whilst Tristian and I sit on the armchair at the back of the room making out. We would rather be in my room doing this then making Rory uncomfortable but Mom said I have to remain visible and since she's studying downstairs it means we must be downstairs.

"Okay, I must listen to anyone named Claudine Longet" Rory says whilst putting on the cd. 

"Maybe we could go to a movie or something and make out in the back?" Tristian asks trying to think of places were we could go to hide. 

"This is Stars Hollow after 9 o'clock love the only place that is open is Luke's and he's worse than my Mom" I tell him. 

"Fine" He says. 

"Rory..." Lane starts. 

"Yes Lane"

"I've got a favour to ask you" She says nervously. "Well you know Dean?"

"My boyfriend?"

"Yes"

"Yes I do"

"Okay, remember I was telling you about his friend Todd?"

"Todd. Yes"

"Have you met him?" Lane asks. 

"No"

"Well he's cool" 

"Good" Rory nods. 

"Really cool"

"Good again"

"Really really cool" Lane emphasises. 

"Good still holds" 

"So cool in fact that it brings me to the next question" Lane says nervously. 

"Hey, I'm studying in there" Mom says walking into the room.

"I know" Rory says. 

"Yeah, I have like 6000 pages of case studies to memorise and this whole big test on the Wal-Mart phenomena coming up on Friday, and because I have a life and a job and business school is  not the only thing I have to concentrate on I'm behind and I'll probably fail and then that little 18 year old annoying gnat who sits behind me will get another 'A' and make the 'I'm smart your dumb face' for the rest of the week and I'll be very upset and will possibly cry" Mom rambles. 

"The music is too loud?" I guess.

"Yes, and Tristian watch the hands there" Mom says pointing to how Tristian's hands are placed high up on my thigh. 

"Got it" Rory says turning it down. 

"Thankyou" She says leaving the room. 

"So anyhow I was wondering if you could talk to Dean about talking to Todd about me" Lane says going back to the conversation. 

"I guess" 

"And then maybe you could ask Dean to ask him out" She says. "For me" 

"Good, cause I don't think Dean would want to go out with Todd. Might screw up their friendship" Rory says. 

"Oh I don't know about that one" Tristian mumbles. 

"Shut up" I whisper giggling. 

"And then I was thinking that this date could maybe happen this weekend" Lane suggests. 

"huh" 

"Sunday preferably"

"Well"

"After church"
