Logan held Carlos' hand in his and slipped the very expensive looking diamond ring on his middle finger. He kissed him again, brushed a lock of hair behind his ear and grinned at him.

"You look amazing. I know they're going to love you." He whispered, brushing his thumb over Carlos' lips.

"They're going to see right through me, Logan." Carlos whispered softly, grabbing Logan's arm.

Logan shook his head and cupped Carlos' face in his palms.

"We're going to put on an Oscar worthy performance in there and nobody will be the wiser. You'll see." He pecked him between his eyes, got out of the car and opened Carlos'door for him.

His chest heaved as he pressed the doorbell, and he squeezed Carlos' hand gently in his. He knew it was not going to be hard for Carlos...his actions the past few days had showed Logan that Carlos did not need to act. He really was in love with him.

Riona Castellano took in her grandson as she pulled open the thick, wooden door. She was tall and elegant, the kind of woman who made her presence felt in a room. Her silver hair was in a neat bun at the top of her head, and her dress held nicely to her medium figure. She had piercing blue eyes and defined facial features, and with no makeup she was still impressively beautiful for a seventy three year old woman.

"I'm angry at you, Logan." She spoke slowly but energetically, like she was carefully choosing each word.

"Not too angry for a hug, I hope." Logan replied warmly, leaning down to kiss the top of her head. Her eyes lit up as she wrapped her arms around him and he kissed her cheek.

"I'm old, Logan. You can't stay away for two years...I could die anytime." She said seriously, with a smile on her face.

"Don't say that, grandma. You still have your whole life ahead of you."
Logan told her, pulling her into a side hug.

"Come in. The table is already set, and I'm starving." She said, completely ignoring Carlos and walked in.

Logan smiled at Carlos, pulled him inside and closed the door behind them.

"Who is the young man?" Riona asked into the empty lounge, turning around to face them.
Logan smiled excitedly, putting his arm around Carlos' waist.

"I wanted to do it when everyone was here, but...grandma, this is Carlos. My fiancé." He said, tilting Carlos' face up and kissing him gingerly.

"A pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Castellano." Carlos whispered shyly, leaning into Logan's chest.
She smiled politely, holding out her hands. Carlos took them in his and she kissed him on the cheek.

"Call me Riona, my dear. I'm glad my grandson has finally decided to settle down." She told him, dropping his hands and showing them to the table.

She had cooked up a Greek feast of all Logan's favorites, and his insides erupted with nostalgia. They said grace and after, there was only the sound of silverware scraping against china.

"The food is exceptional, Mrs. Castellano." Carlos said finally, breaking the silence.

"Thank you, dear. The secret is the love. But...has Logan not taught you the recipes yet?" She asked with a chuckle, winking at Logan.

"Maybe when we're married." Carlos replied sarcastically, smirking at Logan.

The front door opened and closed and Riona smiled excitedly. Logan tensed visibly as his grandfather walked in, and gave him a nervous, half hearted hug. He watched as he took his place at top of the table, staring at Carlos.

"I thought this was a family lunch, who is the boy?" He asked moodily, helping himself to the rosemary potatoes.

"Ben, this is Carlos. Logan's fiance." Riona told him with a smile, putting her hand over his on the table.
