She's been waitressing every Tuesday and Thursday for the last three years. You would think if it's Tuesday I would remember she's here. That still doesn't register in my brain. As I walk in, I lock eyes with the earthiest green eyes I have ever seen. She has the softest smile on her face and it takes me back to when I first met her. It's the exact same look she's giving now as to what she gave back then.

"Sorry I'm late." I call out over the music.

"I'm glad you made it." Jackson says.

I try to get Avery off my left leg and Sydney off the right leg. The worst of them all is Oakleigh, who lets no one have personal space. As currently, if I was to shift any which way; her head would transplant itself into my ass. Literally. When one became shy; they all become shy and want to use me as a shield.

"There's someone I want you to meet. You'll love her. She's a total sweetheart." Jackson suddenly says.

Her?

I'm meeting a her?

Why couldn't it been a guy friend not a chick friend?

"Phoebe! Come over here. I want to introduce you to someone." Jackson yells.

This gets her attention. She gracefully walks over towards us. As she gets closer, I can see the soft freckles littering her nose and cheeks.

"Phoebe this is Grayson. He's been my best friend since we could walk. Grayson this is Phoebe. She's Lor's best friend since they were in diapers." Jackson introduces.

"Nice to meet you." She barely says.

"Likewise."

Seriously? Likewise!

Why did I say likewise?

God I look and feel like an asshole.

I am able to shift Avery and Sydney off my legs. Once I move both girls in front of me; I'm about to shift to the right. Leaving Oakleigh in plain sight with her two sisters.

"These are his beautiful angels; Avery, Oakleigh, and Sydney." Lorelei says while looking down at the girls.

"They're so precious. How old are they?" She asks.
Her voice sound angelic and she catches me off guard asking questions about my girls.

"Three here soon." My voice is rougher than normal.

What the hell is wrong with me?
