I was about to say something when the TARDIS decided to start up on her own and bring us somewhere. When we landed, I was just as confused as the Doctor.

"Do you know where we are?" I asked, biting my lip.

"I'm not too sure. The year says 1912, but the TARDIS seems to have brought us to another dimension. We aren't even in the same world."

I was a bit frightened, especially by the fact that The Doctor seemed a bit concerned as well. He didn't even seem to know where we were at all.

"You might want to change into something more fitting for the time period, my dear." I nodded at his comment, and I found myself going to the wardrobe room. I found this room the other night when we searched for the bedrooms.

As I looked from racks of clothing, I noticed a very pretty button up shirt with a chelsea collar and long blue skirt. It looked like a nice outfit for this time period, and I paired it with a pair of victorian black high heel boots.

I decided to put on a blue ascot and a matching bow in my hair. Seeing myself in the full length mirror made me feel so silly; like a little girl playing dress up.

When I stepped out of the TARDIS, I somehow felt a bout of vertigo. I had no idea why, but this city I was in was marvellous. Beautiful architecture, and I was definitely in some kind of part of the 1912's. All the women were dressed up, and the men looked dashing. Everyone looked like they were celebrating something big.

The Doctor offered his arm to me, after he had giving the air a good reading from his sonic screwdriver. We walked up to another couple and asked what was the big celebration.

"Are you guys inside all the time or new? It's the 1912 fair!" The woman said, smiling at us. We thanked her and went on our way.

As we emerged from the bushes, I nudged the Doctor at what I saw. We were in a city in the clouds, as it appeared.

"Well, would you look at that! We are in a city completely in the clouds. How is this even possible? Oh how I want to meet the scientist who invented this." The Doctor said giddily.

We continued on, looking at certain booths that may happen along the way. We were introduced to a different sort of video machine; a Kinetoscope. It was a big boxed movie projector that you had to stick your face close up to, to see the screen.

"These are rather interesting. This city, Columbia...this doesn't exist in our world, does it?" I asked, rather curious.

"By the looks of this place, I'd say we are definitely not in the same universe anymore. This is rather odd..." The Doctor trailed off, exploring the city and making sense of it.

I was just wandering when I accidentally walked into someone.

"I'm so sorry, sir. I wasn't watching where I was going." I said as I looked up to the man I bumped into.

He was rather handsome and rugged. The man was wearing a pair of dark pinstripe trousers and a embroided, denim vest over a black button up shirt. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows and his wearing an undone red tie.

"It's alright, miss. Are you walking around alone?" he asked, his brown eyes were very enticing.

"No, but I'm not sure where my friend has run off...I'm Emily. Emily Dolli." I said, extending my hand to him.

"Booker DeWitt." he said as he took my hand and kissed the top softly.

I blushed and I was about to say something when the Doctor showed up.

"So, who's this then?" The Doctor seemed envious of Booker.

"I'm Booker DeWitt. Who are you?" Booker was seemed much more sure of himself.

"The Doctor and this is my companion, Emily." The Doctor wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him.

"Anyways, I'm looking for a girl who is dressed a bit like you are. Have you seen anyone like her?" Booker asked us.

We shook our heads to indicate we hadn't, when we were interrupted by a pair of twins.

They had ginger hair and blue eyes. They were wearing matching cream suits with green ties. The only difference was that the woman was wearing a skirt and the man was wearing pants.

The man was carrying a chalk board with it divided in two parts; one on his front, the other on his back.

There were two columns drawn on it. One said heads, the other said tails. The tails column was completely empty, while the heads column was nearly full on both sides.

"Heads?" asked the female. "Or tails?" asked the male.
