Thanks to the spirits of his parents, Eldarion regained consciousness several days after his fainting. Around him was the city of Batilga, or at least what remains of it. Despite the fact that the fires that had ravaged the buildings had gone out, the decor that appeared to him was hardly any better. The town became a dead, gloomy, sad and desolate place. The ashes of the carnage continued to fall slowly on the ground and the corpses of the fighters of both armies still lay around him.

Realizing that Batilga had become an uninhabitable place and that his people were no longer there to repair the colossal damage done, Eldarion knew he had to leave his hometown and go where his Mother-Goddess would lead him. If Kirliata, Argel'Tal, Velidia and Nandis had survived alongside other nyrilorns, Eldarion would find them, even if his quest would last his whole life.

However, Eldarion knew too well that his journey was going to be the harshest, even for a being as powerful as himself. In addition, the threat of M the Evil and his armies still hovers, and if they were to be kept informed of the survival of at least one Nyrilorn, the Seides would still appeal to the Poisoners of Tarantula to try to end once and for all with the remaining Nyrilorns. Thus, he had to prepare for what awaited him, and when he left Batilga, he had to lay low and remain hidden.

While searching among the debris of the palace and the nearby buildings, he found various things useful to his journey having survived all this destruction. He then went to the ruins of his house to lay down his heavy armor and opt for lighter armor, in order to travel quickly and efficiently.  Although Batilga was no more than a ruin field, his heavy armor was created here and had to remain in its proper place until it could be stored elsewhere.

Once his preparations were complete, Eldarion recovered his magic hammer, slowly headed towards the ramparts of the ruined city, and laid his gaze and hand upon one of his fallen battle sisters, wishing him rest and peace in the great Eden of the goddess of the forest. Then he walked through the gates of the city and headed outside.

After reaching a distant hill, Eldarion paused, turned around and took a last look at the city of Batilga before it faded from his field of vision. Finally, it was with a bitter heart that Eldarion went on his way and left the fourth kingdom.
