Characters: Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose

Sonic asks Amy if she wanted to go hang out sometime.
Amy baked pies for her "date" with Sonic and brought them at the beach.
Sonic just wants this day to be just perfect. He doesn't want Eggman showing up and ruining this day.
Sonic watches Amy from a safe distance while she swims in the water.
He secretly likes Amy, but he doesn't think he would be good for her since he spends most of his time running around, saving the world, and defeating Eggman. Sonic has tried to stay away from Amy at one point, only to find out that he is attracted to her some more.
Amy comes out of the water and goes to Sonic. She gives him a bracelet. "It'll protect you in the water," she says.
He takes the bracelet and wears it. "Wow. Thanks," he replies.
They eat the pies and talk for hours.

Soon, the sun sets and Amy tells Sonic that she needs to go back home.
"How about we hang out here tomorrow?" Sonic asks.
Amy smiles, then gives a short nod. They exchange their goodbyes, and Amy leaves.
Sonic does a lot of thinking. He tells himself that nothing should really come between a relationship (that is, if he's up for it). He always sees Amy almost every day, so why not try it out and see where things go?

The next day arrives, and Amy runs and finds Sonic at the beach already.
When Sonic hears her footsteps, he says, "Amy, I have something to tell you."
She is surprised and thinks about the worst case scenarios.
Sonic turns around and smiles at her. Even with that smile, Amy still thinks about the worst that could possibly happen.
Sonic takes in her shocked look on her face. He tells her everything that was on his mind and can't stop thinking about her. He says that he has a lot of fun when she's around.
When Sonic tells Amy that he wants to actually go on dates with her and officially asks her out, Amy is still pretty surprised, but she feels really happy and finally says yes.

They spend the rest of the day together and the hours slide on through.
Sonic becomes more romantic when the sun sets, and Amy becomes much happier.
They have a great relationship with each other.
