Characters: Shadow the Hedgehog and Maria Robotnik

Shadow is all by himself after all the events that had happened in the ARK. He doesn't know why he is feeling so sad.
Then, he closes his eyes and sees Maria.
Shadow feels his heart break and falls down to the ground because he misses Maria so much.
He is thinking to himself. How could he ever forget her?
Maria reminds him that he needs to fight just to make it through all the bad events that occurred in his life.
Shadow stands back up and gets a white Chaos Emerald out.
The Emerald reacts, and he remembers what Maria said and her promise.
He does everything to protect the world Maria loved but had never set foot on.

Author's Note:
Shadow and Maria are still one of my favorite characters and special relationships to this day, but this has to be the shortest story that I wrote about the two of them so far. Perhaps I should take some time to revisit "My Life with Maria" some time. This book I created back in 2012 on Wattpad originally, but I sadly took it down with the original intention to rewrite the story and repost it later, but I have yet to execute that plan someday.
