Quidditch World Cup

Walking into the stadium was amazing. Thousands of excited witches and wizards filled the stadium seats.

Emory walked over to where Harry was standing and she was startled by another boy standing next to him.

"There you are, Harry!" She said.

"Oh, Cedric this is my cousin Emory, she's from America." Harry introduced her to the boy next to him.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Cedric Diggory," He said and gave her a welcoming smile.

"So you go to Hogwarts?" Emory asked the boy.

"Yep, you go to Ilvermorny?" He asked her and she shook her head yes.

"I've heard many impressive things about Ilvermorny," He complimented the school.

"Blimey, dad! How far up are we?" A familiar voice shouted on the stairs up near the second story.

"Ron?" Harry noticed, it must have been the Weasleys.

All three of them made their way to the stairs and started climbing when an older voice interrupted them.

"Well put it this way ... if it rains you'll be the first to know. " He evilly sneered. The duo had matching bleach-blonde hair, cold gray eyes, and fancy black outfits.

It was a tense moment. Emory noticed Mr. Weasley and the man looking at each other.

"That wasn't a nice thing to say to Mr. Weasley," Emory said turning to Harry, who was staring the blondes down.

"Father and I are in The Minister's box, by personal invitation of Cornelius Fudge himself!--"

"Don't boast, Draco," The man stuck his shiny cane into the boy's stomach. "There's no need with these people..." Lucius chuckled.

His eyes fell upon Harry. A shadow of total hatred came across his face. Finally, his eyes caught Emory, she remained standing tall waiting for him to challenge her.

"The Abbot child," Lucius sneered "Thought you would be happy to see such a wealthy family like your own".

"I was happy, then I saw you," She responded sassily. The due sneered and walked away.

The sky rumbled with thunder. Emory scoffed "Well that's that." The whole group continued to climb up the stairs.

"Well, Hello!" Matthew came into view, with another older man.

"Looks like our kids have already met." The other man said.

Cedric walked over to the man "Sorry I lost you, father. Looks like I found these two lost with me."

Emory looked at her dad with a 'you know his dad?' face.

Cedric's father beamed "It's great to see you again Matthew. Would you like to join us all?"

Matthew looked at Emory, then back at him. "Why not Amos, my daughter and my tickets are up there as well."

"What about mom?" Emory asked.

"Aunt Sophia is in the minister box and claimed She needs Elizabeth to survive" Dad responded. Sophia Emory Gale was the American minister of magic, she was also her mother's best friend at Ilverymorny. They were as close as sisters and she was Emory's aunt.

"How do you to know each other," Cedric asked the two older men.

"We were best friends before the Abbot family moved to America" Amso replied.

The Weasleys caught up with the group of five. "Emory" Hermione and Ginny greet the older girl.

"Hey, guys!" Emory said with a bubbly tone.

"If it isn't our new friend!" Fred and George said in harmony. She winked as the twins came close.

The crowd screamed as the match was begging to be introduced. Balloons were flying up into the air in green, red, and white.

"Oh, Emory!" She heard in a sing-song voice. She looked around for who had called her name. Her eyes finally landed on the twins and not the redheaded ones.

"Ryder! Mason!" She yelled and brought the boys over to the Weasley clan.

"Wow, no love for little old me," another voice said. Looking over Emory saw the most popular boy at Ilvermorny.

"He's so hot" Ginny whispered to Hermoine, who instantly agreed with her.

"Adyen, I had no idea you were coming," Emory said as she brought the boy into a hug. He instantly wrapped his arms around her like they had done many times before.

Adyen Monseir was the first person Emory met on the Ilvermorny train all the way back in year 1. They were both sorted into Thunderbird, where they became close friends. Emory would be lying if she said she never had a crush on the boy, with his brown hair and perfect eyes.

"It's so good to see you again," Adyen said as they released from the hug.

"It's so good to see you again," She replied looking into his eyes.

"They're going to get married one day," Mason whispered to Ryder.

"No they won't," Ryder said doubting his brother's claims.

"Yes they will," Matthew said hearing the boy's conversation.

Snapping out of their moment, the four Ilvermorny students made their way next to the Hogwarts students and the match began.

"COME ON!" One of the redheaded twins yelled. As the fields began to rattle with shouting from the stands.

The brunette twins started pointing out Irish players, naming all of them by memory. People yelled and the firework turned into a leprechaun, it started dancing a traditional Irish jig.

Ayden and Emory met eyes and began to laugh.

Suddenly the Bulgarians flashed red into the leprechaun, and it broke. The players swooped up and down, their capes flowing heroically. Even more, people cheered. The whole place was going insane, Emory thought her eardrums would burst.

People chanted, "KRU-UM!"

Joking around, everyone chanted alongside the crowd. The match had started.

"I haven't had this much fun in years!" Emory exclaimed.

"You and me both." Ayden agreed.

His eyes fixed on her, Emory caught them and smiled ever so bright.
