Ilvermorny

The students and teachers walked down the hall where all lockers held all your necessary school equipment. A staircase led down to the ground where the dorms existed. Into the courtyard, they walked all the way towards the Thunderbird Mansion the farthest from the school.

Entering the mansion they were welcomed into the grand foyer, where two large staircases made their way up to the dorms. Matthew, the head of Thunderbird house, handed out keys to the students that led to their dorms.

Finally, his eyes landed on the oldest students, the final years. He walked over to the four girls and seven boys that had been gathered waiting for their keys.

He handed the keys to Emory and Ayden the heads of finals, before making his way over to the confused second years.

At Ilvermorny they had a school counsel, that was highly respected. Each house had a second -fourth-year boy and girl student who were underclass representation. Then they had a boy and girl from the fifth-final year who held the upper-class representation. Finally, they had a single boy and girl from the final year who was the head of finals. The head of the school more likely, the heads had the most power and it was a hard job.

Emory had been underclass representation, upper-class representation, and now head of finals. The only other student who managed to do the same was Ayden.

Emory and Ayden did quick work of handing out the keys to the other final years. Emory and Alyssa would be rooming together again, while the other two girls from their room had the other dorm that shared the connecting bathroom.

Emory and Alyssa quickly made their way up to their dorm excited to be back for the new year. As they entered they were welcomed by the familiar blue comforters that covered the white bed, the desk, closet, and other furniture were in the same white color.

The two girls quickly made work of unpacking and preparing for the sorting later that evening. The first year was currently on a tour of the campus, to make sure they wouldn't get lost heading to their classes on the first day.

Emory quickly dressed into her uniform and found a matching pair of navy blue shoes with fur around the ankle. She quickly curled her hair just touching it up.

"How are you so pretty?" Alyssa asked Emory.

"I'm not," Emory complained to the other girl, "At least not compared to you."

In Emory's mind it was true with her blonde hair and blue eyes it was hard not to look at the girl. Alyssa just denied the comment with a roll of her eyes.

"We have to meet the boys downstairs to head to the sorting," Emory said and the two girls left their room.

They slowly walked down the left side of the two staircases, where they found the boys waiting for them. Well, only three of the seven boys. All of them dress in their blue suits with white shirts and navy ties.

Ayden, Kyle, and Ryder stood there waiting for the two girls.

"Sup Boys," Alyssa shouted as they walked down the staircase.

"Hey girls," Kyle shouted back.

"You three rooming together this year?" Emory asked.

"Yeah the dynamic four wanted to room together," Ryder said. The other four Thunderbird final-year boys were known as the dynamic four and they were absolute jerks.

"Yeah I would not want to room with them," Ayden says.

"Me neither," Kyle agreed.

"That's fair," Alyssa said agreeing with the boys.

"We better head to the sorting ceremony, don't need Matthew breathing down our necks," Ryder told the group who all agreed and walked to the castle with the dining hall and classrooms.

Ayden casually threw his arm around Eorys shoulders, completely missing the dark blush that reached her checks when he did that.

We stand as one united,
Against the.
We draw our inspiration
From good.

For she was persecuted
By
So she fled from distant,
And so our school began.

Oh! Ilvermorny-!
We choo-choose it!
We choo-choose it!
The  supreme.

Your  walls, they kept us safe.
The days with you, a dream
You taught us all our
And now one thing's quite clear

Where'er we roam
Where'er we roam
Our one true home
Our one and own

Is Ilvermorny dear!

The dining hall clapped and hollered as they finished the traditional Ilvermorny school song.

Emory clapped as she loved to recite the old song she loved.

"Thank you Ilvermorny, for your participation!" Headmaster White thanked.

The place calmed down only a few notches. Chatter quieted down at all the tables.

"Greeting students, from the West and the East! Witches, Wizards, and Professors we welcome you all to Ilvermorny for this school year! The greatest wizarding school in History ....." As the Headmaster went on. After his speech, the heads of houses gave all the students their schedules.

After Emory received her schedule she immediately started to compare hers with Ryders.

"Emory we only have 3 classes together!" Ryder exclaimed dramatically.

"Noooo.." Emory yelled back.

"You guys know there are only six classes a day, and you have lunch together," Ayden said done with their dramatics.

"I'll only see you over half the day," Ryder said making a big show of leaning into Emory's arm as the duo began to fake cry.

That's when Mason walked over.

"What's going on with those two," Mason asked Ayden seeing his brother and his best friends dramatics.

"They only have half their classes together," He told the twin.

"Oh hi Mason," Ryder said stopping the twos fake crying.

"Hey, just wanted to let you know Wampus is throwing a huge welcome-back party for the upperclassmen tonight. Spread the word," Mason said and left the Thunderbird table.

Let's just say after the feast, the rest of the night was a blur. Between the dancing, drinking, and major hangovers the next moring. Nobody knows how to party better than drunk American teens.
