•{ leila's POV }•

"so why could you not sleep and why the fuck did you decide that it was a good idea to call me at 3 in the morning" i asked him with a sarcastic tone. he smirked at me, sinking deeper into his pillow before talking "ok well like i said, you didn't need to say yes, you could've just told me no and i would've been fine." "sure" i said rolling my eyes then he continued "i can't sleep because i just can't and i knew you would pick up"

"eh ok" i say shifting to my side and pulling the blanket over me. there was a little moment of silence before matt speaks up "have you recorded any new songs for your album recently?" he asks with a sleepy voice "well, im gonna head to the studio tomorrow to record 2 more songs" i tell him yawning

he smiles "can i come with?" he asks. "yeah sure. it's just gonna be us two and jay and riley" i tell him. "ok cool, what time are you guys going?" he asks "around 10:30. come over at 10 cause jay can drive all of us"

we talk a bit more about random stuff and what we did today until it hit 5 o'clock.

"ok, i need to sleep now and so do you cause we have to wake up in like 4 or 5 hours" i told him "i know your gonna miss me too much so ill stay on call" "whatever goodnight dumbass" he said smiling "night idiot"

•{ matt's POV }•

"-i know you're gonna miss me too much so i'll stay on call" i smiled and laughed a bit knowing she was telling the truth "whatever goodnight dumbass" i told her still smiling "night idiot" she replied and with that she had already fallen asleep.

i couldn't help but just stare at her. truth is, i kind of have feelings for her. NOT A LOT just- a little...

since we graduated im pretty sure. i was never sure of myself but then loki asked her out and she was so happy cause she's had a crush on him since forever. i guess i was happy for her but me and the boys already new that something was up with loki but didn't think much of it since leila loved him so much.

definitely didn't end well...

she opens her eyes and catches me staring "can i help you?" she asks me. unsure of what to do, i just smiled and questioned her back "thought you said you were gonna sleep?" "yeah, i was but then it felt like i was being watched so- you know, just checking" she said. i couldnt help but smile "ok well you checked goodnight"

she paused for few second then smiled as she closed her eyes and placed her head back on her pillow. "night matt" i smile and do the same thing "night lei"
