You and Samus started back tracking through the station. They had to get the power back online and one of the main generators was back through the station. They took out as many enemy's as they could on there way back through the station. And eventually they found there way to the generator. The door was locked so they had to improvise. They decided that Samus had a better chance of finding a way through, so you were going to stay put and guard the door while she got the generator online.

So there you were, standing in front of a door waiting for her. While you were waiting you pulled a data chip from your helmet. You held it in front of you and it lit up a holographic picture. It was that picture of you and Noble team. Back then everyone thought you were a machine. The truth is you just don't get personal during a briefing or a mission. Anywhere else you can be very open, just not around people you don't trust.

You didn't know noble team long. But that didn't mean you didn't care about them. They had your back and you had there's. You could count on them, unlike most of ONI's lackeys. Those morons would either only step in when it threatened the mission, or stand aside and let people die to allow intelligence to reach people. But Noble team, they would have your back no matter what. It's sad how war always takes the good people.

You looked up from the picture and think about Samus. So far she's been more friendly than anyone I've met in the field. People back then only wanted a Spartan around when things got tough, or when they wanted a half a ton super soldier to keep them safe. You look back at the picture. Maybe one day I could trust her the way I trusted them?

The door behind you woodshed open and Samus stepped out.

"What are you looking at?" She asked

She kinda startled you as you were lost in thought, but you answered.

"Oh it's just a old picture of me and my team" you said

She leaned over to look at it.

"This was after we took out a covenant corvette, that's Jorge, Kat, Carter, Jun and Emile." You said listing them off and pointing to them.

"How long did you serve with them?" Samus asked

"About a month, a little less actually, after that they were all dead." you answered

"I'm sorry"

"Don't worry about it, happened long before your time anyway" you said putting the picture in your hard case. "Time to get moving?"

Her answer was to light up her visor and start jogging down the hallway. You followed her with your rifle out.

TIME SKIP- sector 1

You both had arived in the command centre for Commander Malcovitch to immidiantly send you both into sector 1. Looks like Spartan work never ends, gotta be thrown from one fire into another. We were walking through countless halls and wierd looking rooms, fighting off countless wierd look monsters and aliens. You didn't even think it was possible for their to be this many creatures in one area, all living diversley until humans desided to re-awaken them.

After a while we reached a circular room with walls made of glass peering into a growth of plants. But before you had time to even think about what this room was, a glass pannel shattered above you. After a second nothing happened, but have had your fair share of fighting cloaked enemys.

You noticed some of the glass shards moving in the direction of Samus and yelled, "Samus look out" as you took aim.

The creature tried to grab her with its tail but with amazing strength, she grabbed its tail, wirled it around the room, and smashed it into the ground. And you... kinda just stood their and admired her strength. 'Man she's stong'.

The creature started to get up, it had a long tail, reptile like skin, and weird looking... well... everything. You opened fire as the creature tried to charge you. It tried to grab you with its tail... and it succeeded. It grabbed your and stared wirling you around, but before it could smash you into the ground like Samus, you pulled your kukri and stabbed its tail. It dropped you to the ground and you pulled your pistol and started unloading into it. That seemed to distract it and give Samus the opening to to get on top of it and shoot it in the head killing it.

You sigh and put your pistol on your side again. You start to get up and Samus lend you a hand.

"Thanks" you said gratfully

"your welcome" she said

"what was that thing?" you ask

"don't know, the diversity of all the species on this station is unbelievable" she answered

"I hate places like this, some people think its a good idea to mess with what you don't understand. Some secrets should just stay buried" you tell her "wonder who would be crazy enough to mess with these things" you say kicking the creature

She seemed to pause for a second. "this place... its Galactic federation..." she spoke up

"thats also what it says on the armour of those soldiers we met." you say looking at her "wonder what their doing trying to weaponize creatures like these"

"Galactic Federation frowns on using bioweapons of any sort, and Adam was never going to agree with it." she explained

"then why were people messing with it?" you question.

there was a silence for a time before you desided to speak up.

"what if its a diffrent faction of the military working under the shadows?" you said earning a confused look from Samus

"back in my day there was the UNSC, but their also was another 'Faction' Called ONI. The Office of naval intelegance. They were the most secretive and classified bunch I have ever worked for. I'm willing to bet that they were expirimenting with Bioweapons. Why couldn't the same thing happen with your government?" you explain to her

"we should get moving" she said lighting up her visor and moving out.

Time Skip

Eventualy after a extremely long trek you and Samus came apon something rather out of the ordinary, and here that was saying something. It appeared to be a containment cell for something that even these scientist did not understand. The room was small but still full of plant life, but the thing that stuck out, was obviously the corpse on the gound.

You both knelt down to look at it, the body had similar marks on it compared to the last scientist. Green burns and horrible blistering all over his body, almost looked like something was trying to dissolve him with its fluids. which based on what you had seen here today, wasn't that far of a strech.

Samus knelt down to look at the poor guy.

"got a bad feeling about this" you said

"we should get moving, Adam will know were we need to go from here" she said

"you know you keep Calling him by his first name..." you question her. She froze the second you brought it up. "you know him?"

"a long time ago..." she said

"did you serve with him? or..." you were going to continue before she cut you off

"its none of your buisness, now lets get moving. we got a job to do!" she said a little angry before falling out.

'what are you hiding?' you think bfore following her...
