"I Could ask you the same question" you replied
"I'll ask the questions here" they shot back at you
"why? I've got a gun to your head" you snapped back
"and I've got a blaster to yours" they reply
"how bout this, I'll give you my name, and then you give me yours" you offered
They seemed to think about it for a second and then said "very well, so who are you?" they asked
"My name is Noble 6, who are you?" you asked
"Noble 6? weird name" they said
"yeah well its my name none the less, now who are you?" you repeated
"very well, my name is Samus. Now why are you following me?"
"because I thought you could help me" You said lowering your weapon
"how?" They Replied lowering their own
"my ship has run out of fuel and I need a ride out of here" you explained
"So you sent the baby's cry!" they replied
"Baby's cry? What in the heck is a Baby's cry? No my ship's been broadcasting a distress signal on a emergency frequency, like a normal person"
"Well if you didn't send it then the people who did are still here and until I help them I can't leave"
"Well I need a ride off this station"
Samus hesitated, they appeared to be thinking. Then they spoke up "how about this... you help me help the people who sent the cry and I give you a ride afterwards"
You look at the floor and think about her proposal 'why should I help them? I got to get to earth and help them defend themselves from the Covenant. But there is the only one with a ship that I have seen. How can I even trust them?' You look at them as SHE turns the glow of her visor off and you can see her eyes. 'But what reason not to trust her has she given me? I did kind of provoke her. Ok I'll help her.'
"Ok I'll help you" you say adjusting your rifle
"Good, follow me, and try to keep up" she said adjusting her arm cannon
"Yes ma'am"
She turned around and went into a sprint down the hallway and you followed. 'She has pretty eyes' you thought
10 minutes later
We were about to enter another room when Samus stopped. She looked and said "I think there might be something in this next room, are we going to rush in ready for anything. understood?"
"don't worry ma'am this ain't my first rodeo"
She opened the door and bolted in at a speed that you had never seen someone move at. You ran after her. You passed some crates and saw Samus do a huge flip and land aiming her gun at something. you caught up with her and saw a handful of what looked to be soldiers in blue Armor. Everything they had seemed so weird. You aimed your AR and prepared to fire on Samus's command.
"Ah fancy meeting you princess" a soldier with something big pack on his back walked up and said
"Remember me" he said pulling up his visor
"Anthony..." Said Samus
'Anthony' started pushing other's weapons down and then playfully saluted Samus.
"6 weapon down there friendly" Samus said to you and you lowered your weapons while Anthony and Samus walked to each other
"Ah you brought a friend? 6 is it? Well I brought a friend too!" Anthony Said pointing to a man in the corner.
The man looked at you then asked Samus "what are you doing here?" He said sternly 'real ray of sunshine isn't he' you walked toward the group.
"I was in the area and got a distress call" Samus Replied
"And you?" He said looking at you
"Ship ran out of fuel so I'm looking for a ride out of here"
"Who are you?" He asked 'maybe I shouldn't be so quick to tell these people' you quickly thought
"No one worth knowing"
"What is the federation doing here?" Samus asked
"That information is not for an outsider!" The man snapped
"Pierced my heart" Anthony said
There was a small silence and then another person crouching near a door got up and looked at the other "commander were all prepped " he said before walking away from the door, quickly everyone followed.
A mine on the door exploded, the door didn't even dent.
"No dice, looks like our only option is to use the laser and slowly burn through... gonna take a while" the "Commander" said
'Well... screw this crap' you thought as you got your Spartan laser from your back, everyone was talking to Samus so they didn't notice you start to charge it up. you aimed for what appeared to be the lock on the door.
"Does anyone else hear that?" Anthony said as every one looked at you
BAM!
The smoke cleared and the "lock" was gone. Everyone just looked at you. "what? Now there is no lock on the door! Let's move!" You said to them. The commander ran up and with surprising strength forced the door open. He checked the area and nodded to his teammates and every one ran through.
"Remind me to not get on your bad side" Anthony Said before following them.
You just stood there and put the laser back on your back. Samus walked up beside you. You looked at her. "Are we going or what?" You said
She looked at you and nodded before you both walked down the hallway.
'What happened while I was out?' you thought as you continued following Samus
