"What can I say master 'iccup? It's the truth" Trader Johan said to Hiccup as they were slowly sailing through the vast ocean. "Berk has been under attack from dragns for some days now. It's so bad that no one can dock on the island without nearly being lit up in flames"
"Should I go help them bud?" (underline italics=dragonese) Hiccup asked Toothless with an anxious yet frustrated tone
"They are family, whether you like it or not. "The black dragon replied stubbornly
"But they hurt me so much. They made me feel like an outcast. When I left I knew I had to and I'm just supposed to go waltzing back there when they all think I'm dead?!"
"But they're your people Hiccup. Besides, if you don't go back Snotlout will have to become cheif. We'll all actually be doomed then!
"Fine."
"Is everything okay master 'iccup?"
"Yes Johan. Everything is fine. I'll have to go to Berk to help them out. Meet me there in a week or so. The problem should be fixed by then."
Hiccup placed his helmet, that was covered in nightfury scales, on his head and prepared Toothless, after folding up his flight suit.
(His flight suit is almost identical to that of an actual dragon's body. He has a manual and automatic mode for the wings flapping and he can fly almost as well as an deadly natter. He thinks he could develop wings due to his blood but the king of dragons told him he would have to see those he cared about in deadly peril to unlock this ability, so for now he has his mechanical wings.)
"See you there Johan!!"
And with that, they took off at the speed of light towards the place Hiccup dreaded most. Berk.
Astrid's POV
It was 3 years ago today when Hiccup was killed by that beast.And 3 years ago today Astrid swore to avenge him. She swore that she would never let another dragon live as long as Hiccup was gone. And she had stuck by that oath even when her own life was in danger.
"He's here! The dragon master is here!" a viking called out, allerting me, Stoik, Gobber and the rest of the dragon killing team (Ruff, Tuff, Snottlout and Fishlegs).
A dragon as black as night landed metres away from me. A dragon with emeralnd green eyes. A dragon that killed Hiccup.
